Brimley was a great base camp for traveling to several areas along the shores of Lake Superior. It was a very comfortable cabin, literally 10 steps away from the lake. Sunsets and sunrises were spectacular. Would definitely recommend.

Great cabin right next to the water. Great to walk the beach looking for sea glass and agates. We did get in a little early and Kevin was kind enough to let us in early. Cabin has everything you need. Great kitchen for cooking and even has a gas bbq if you need one. We spend alot of time in the sauna. Great place to stay if you want to unwind and relax. Highly recommended this place.

The house was very clean and well stocked with linens, kitchen utensils, and games. We loved the privacy and quiet setting. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the ships go by and hearing the waves. We had a slight problem with the shower, but the host was very quick to respond and get it fixed. The only issue we had was the musty smell in one bedroom and the living room. We were able to keep the windows open and enjoy the perfect weather. We would definitely go back!

This had plenty of what you need for a relaxing vacation! The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pans, there were hooks everywhere, so no wet towels on the floor; it was truly comfortable. The beach is gorgeous and the water was cool, but a delightful swim. You can walk 200 yards out into the lake before it’s greater than waist deep. The bottom is sandy with a mix of smooth rocks, we did use water shoes. Our teenagers loved their spaces and the views were beautiful, even though they did become somewhat obscured with wildfire smoke. We visited Pictured Rocks and Tahquamenon Falls, and our dog was able to join us on all of our adventures. He loved swimming in Superior with us as well as long walks on the beach. If you need a peaceful vacation, this is the place!

This cabin was very well stocked with everything you might need for your stay and was quite comfortable. It is right on the beach and has the most amazing views of the lake and Canada across the bay. We especially enjoyed watching the ships passing by on their way to and from Soo Locks.

We stayed here while snowmobiling. The cabin is nice and cozy and a quick ride to the trails from the driveway. Kevin was great to deal with, we'd love to be back sometime!

Lovely, well-appointed little cottage with an amazing view of Lake Superior. Husband and I enjoyed a week of snowmobiling and the cottage definitely served all of our needs.

Kast Brother's purchased the property in September of 2020 and have renovated inside and out to make it the best short term rental. Our goal is to provide a great experience so our guests can experience the best of the Upper Peninsula. Our families are avid snowmobilers and love water adventures.

Why they chose this property

This property fell into our laps after years of looking. What struck us was the view of freighters sailing by. We think you will be in awe of the beauty that Lake Superior offers as the largest fresh water lake in the world! The view of Canada and the mountains across Superior was mesmerizing. The water is turquoise on sunny days, and will remind you of being on the ocean. The beach travels in both directions for miles of walking. The deck overlooking the lake allows for great sunset watching. Snowmobile trails take you in all directions. Let us be your hosts.
