The house was so neatly decorated and styled. We loved all the antiques and old-timey feel of the property. It had everything we needed and is in a great location for those looking to float.

I stayed for 2 weeks and have a wonderful, relaxing time. The porch provided lovely sunsets and stillness. The property is in an excellent location near many outdoor activities and beautiful drives. It is safe and easy to find. I highly recommend this property for short or long stays!

It was the perfect family getaway! We saw elk everyday less than a min from house—along with turkeys, deer, & eagles! The house is in the perfect location. It’s close to ATV trails, caves, hiking & only a short trip to Branson. Highly recommend!

We visited during the eclipse of April 2024. It’s a great location, and a beautiful setting! The house was clean and comfy, with lots of outdoor seating.
We would definitely consider this location again!
From booking to leaving, this property was 5 stars! Owner was very responsive to questions that arose prior to our stay and information provided at the property answered any and all questions we might have had once there. Departure was SUPER easy. We will re-book this property if we make this trip again.

Thank you for your kind words, Ashley! You are welcome back anytime.
The property was big enough to accommodate 4 adult couples. We enjoyed sitting on the big front porch. The property was close to outdoor attractions like canoeing and side by siding trails. The Wilderness Rider Buffalo Ranch tails were close enough we could ride our rigs to them. Perfect location. The house could have been cleaner. Lots of dust, cobwebs, and dead little bugs. The lighting was not very bright and like Vicki says on her page the stairs are not safe for elderly or little kids. They seem steep and there is no hand rail. Check in and checkout was a breeze. Vicki responded to questions quickly and was easy to communicate with. She gave great recommendations for the area. I would stay here again for the location, size, and convenience.

The house is great. We hiked a lot, watched elk, and cooked. The house is nicely decorated, and beds are comfortable. Also a perk that you never run out of hot water!!

Thank you, Tracie. Glad you enjoyed your time on the mountain!
We had a great time playing risk during our entire stay, grilling and sleeping in on the peaceful mornings. We also got to see the sky full of stars. It’s been awhile :) we had a great time floating the Buffalo River and appreciated the short 10 minute drive to the outfitters. Thank you so much!

You are welcome, Joe! Hearing about the memories you made me smile. The stars ARE amazing, right?
Northwest Arkansas is our favorite getaway and this house was a perfect choice for our family. We were able to take a break from the stress and busyness in life that we tend to get wrapped up in. In the evenings and on the rainy days we stayed in and played games that were provided by the owner. On the pretty days we explored the area and this rental was the perfect place to come back to. We were even able to extend our stay at the last minute, the owner was very accommodating! We will be back!
