BEACHFRONT Property with Room for Everyone

“Sea La Vie” is a beautifully updated property with room for everyone just STEPS away from the beach. Enjoy the gorgeous views and peaceful atmosphere. This home is located in a gated community packed with many amenities. This home boasts four bedrooms and three full bathrooms, including a bedroom and bathroom on the main floor. Three bedrooms have a king size bed in each room. The fourth bedroom has a full bed along with a twin over full bunk bed that kids will love.

The house features a full coffee bar, BBQ, washer/dryer, and stocked kitchen. There are also plenty of toys, beach gear, books and games for all ages. Relax on the front or back patio, or take a walk down the beach and soak up the ocean air. Great spot for seasonal whale watching and keep an eye out for other sea life all year long!

Perfect location to enjoy many wonderful spots in the area. Head north on Highway 1 and grab a meal at The Whole Enchilada or other restaurants in Moss Landing. Keep heading north towards Santa Cruz and Capitola. Phil's Fish Market in Castroville is also nearby! Grab your golf clubs and head south on Highway 1 to Pebble Beach or any other of the world class golf courses in the area. The Monterey Bay Aquarium on Cannery Row is an easy 20 minute drive. A few minutes further south you will find Carmel-by-the-Sea, a lovely spot packed with excellent shopping, art and dining. This beautiful area of the California coast offers something for everyone and every age. Flying in from out of state? The Monterey Regional Airport is a 20 minute drive away and the San Jose International Airport is about an hour away. No matter what brings you here, we are confident that you will enjoy every moment of your stay!

The view from the living room and dining room was 100% dunes and ocean. The space was perfect and we all love our annual stay in Gina's unit. Our family gathers to play, boogie board, soak in the hot tub, swim in the pool, play tennis, and play bocce ball. It is the highlight of our year. Gina has the washroom ready for laundry, games to play, DVD's to watch, beach chairs, unbrella, all one needs if they have not been packed to bring.

Loved the activity area with pickleball, basketball, pool, etc. worked out well for kids. Very quiet area, weather wasn't great because of wind and high surf but would stay again.

Wonderful Family Trip!

We had a terrific time on our annual family trip to Monterey Dunes. This home easily accommodated our group and was well equipped for all of our needs. Loved watching the sunset each evening! Would definitely stay here again!

Very comfortable home, well appointed, for extended family with all ages; easy walk to the beach; lovely pathways if you don’t want to get all sandy; perfect for cooking, grilling, hanging out playing games, watching movies, general family time. Easy access to Phil‘s fish house in Castroville, to Monterey Bay aquarium, and to Santa Cruz- perfect location, very peaceful, very safe gated community; nice tennis courts, pickle ball, pool and hot tub in community center. Very comfortable house. The owners have thought of everything you might need.

Moss Landing Vacation

Sea la Vie is in a beautiful location overlooking Monterey Bay. Great for a family vacation with the aquarium, Carmel and Santa Cruz all in close proximity. Plenty to keep everyone active with a great beach for long walks and beautiful sunsets. Lovely place.

Dunes Gathering

Our stay was perfect for all four families. We had a perfect time together in Gina's home: the beach was clean and private; the pool and hot tub was in good condition; she has beach chairs, towels, toys, games, and even a welcoming bottle of wine and sparkling apple juice. We will come again!

Perfect Beach Vacation

The house was perfect for a family reunion. The kids loved swimming in the pool, playing on the tennis courts and the beach access couldn’t be beat. We would recommend this house to anyone coming to the area. Also, the hosts were the best we’ve ever encountered. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Fantastic Beach House

The view - stupendous. This home has all you need to feel at home while on vacation. Kitchen very well stocked and beds super comfortable. Plenty of pillows, blankets, towels, etc. We were three senior couples and enjoyed all but one meal at the house. You don’t want to leave. The owner’s response to questions were addressed immediately. Highly Recommend.

Family Return to Sea La Vie

We always enjoy our stay at this house and Gina is extremely accommodating! The house is clean, fully equipped and super kid friendly with games, toys, and a beach stuff. Always try to book here when we make the trip back to the dunes! Excited to go back again soon!

Private 5-Star Beach House

This is our second time staying at this property, first time under this ownership. The property is amazing and has everything provided to make for a 5-star experience in paradise. We have already booked for a longer stay next year which cant get here fast enough!

HEAVEN. WE DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE

This was heaven. It was outside the budget we set, and so worth it. The location is amazing--it was central to things we wanted to do, but we liked the beach so much we, especially the kids, barely wanted to leave (remember this is a northern California beach, so chilly unless it's heart of summer). This long stretch of beach surrounded by pristine dunes was almost secluded. Beautiful windows look out onto the dunes and tips of waves. The owner was great to communicate and work with. The home is great--4 adults, an 11 year-old, 9 year old, 5 year and 15 months, and all were completely happy. The home is well stocked and appointed, they seem to have thought of everything.

This is a wonderful location. So great to be able to take long walks on the beach. Beautiful views of the dunes and ocean Communication with the owner was excellent. The house was well stocked. We had a friends reunion with 4 couples. Perfect!!!

Family Gathering was perfect!

We have stayed at Monterey Dunes for 10 years now and this unit is our new favorite. Gina was wonderful to work with, everything was just as we'd been told: well-equipped kitchen, clean, welcoming, so many games for the kids to play with indoors and out, and so much better than I could've imagined. We all give this home 5 stars.

Beautiful experience

This was an awesome experience! Gina was great at communicating and the property had everything you would need to enjoy the beauty of the beach. Our kids loved all the beach toys, books, and bunk beds. We loved the giant windows and the 20 second walk to the beach - we even saw dolphins! Really loved it.

Great beach house with all the comforts of home!

Incredible ocean views and a thoughtfully curated home set the stage for a most comfortable midweek getaway. Sea-La-Vie met (and even exceeded) our expectations for a comfortable stay with a well-appointed kitchen, comfy beds and furnishings, great views of the ocean, and our attentive host, Gina. We especially enjoyed watching the waves from recliners in the sun-filled reading nook, sitting on the deck at the end of the day to catch the sunset, and an amazing view of the night sky as well! All in all, a most relaxing and rejuvenating oceanfront getaway!
