We spent 3 days at this VRBO. It was very pleasant. The views are beautiful and the location was great. Belfast if a cute town on the Atlantic. Thank you so much for the nice place to stay!
I stayed with four friends at this lovely waterfront home in Belfast, to attend the Rockland Lobsterfest about 50 min. away. The home was gorgeous, right on the water, with lovely bedrooms, a spacious, well-appointed kitchen, and plenty of space to sit by the water and make memories. Susan was a lovely hostess, very responsive and kind. Highly recommend!
Such a gem! The pictures don’t do it proper justice!
This was an ideal house for a family! 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 bedroom downstairs for grandma was made for us! We spent so much time hanging in the sunroom and down blowing bubbles by the water. This house made our vacation, and is just 6 minutes from downtown Belfast! We’ll definitely stay again. Susan was extremely attentive and welcoming during our stay.
We stayed at the Passey House for three days in early September. The location is absolutely beautiful! If we didn't have plans to visit Acadia National Park, we would have been content to just enjoy the waterfront and gardens and hop into town for some meals. I would 200% recommend this place. The house itself is very nice and a very comfortable place to stay. The hose, Susan, was fantastic and was immediately available for help or information. She even gave a great recommendation on a hike on Deer Isle. We couldn't have asked for a better host!
This is an amazing house, with an amazing host. Everything was just as described, and our host Susan was more than accommodating. The view from the house was second to none, and the house provided more than ample room for a family of four. Also, a nice little bonus to the property are the raspberry and blackberry shrubs!
The house is located close to walking/running/biking trails. It is also a very short and easy drive to Belfast. Other convenient trips we took were to Camden and Lincolnville.
If you are looking for a large house for a small to medium size family, you could not go wrong with booking "The Passy"!
We were looking for a place to stay as a jumping off point to explore the Maine coast and day trip to Acadia National Park. Compared to other options, this place is a good deal. Loved having an actual house with full kitchen and water views. Everyone had their own bedroom and the house has 3 nice recently renovated bathrooms. If you want to explore the Passagassawakeag river, you have that option and/or you can enjoy the views from the 3 season sunroom while having a meal. You may even catch a view of a bald eagle making the rounds. Three mini splits provide more than adequate cooling and heating. Note there is only 1 tv in the house and it is internet based (Roku-ish) but it wasn't a big deal for us. An outdoor grill is also provided. Susan, the owner, is attentive if you have questions. Overall, having this place was the best part of our trip
To one and ALL,
This place rocks. The location, house and staff were above our expectations. From our warm greeting to the time, we locked the door and went home we felt like royalty.
We had the most amazing time in the house. Our family 6 had enough space, and bathrooms, for everyone to not feel on top of each other. The pictures of the view don’t capture the amazing view! We can’t wait to rent again!
We came here on a couples vacation and could not have been happier with the large rooms, the beautiful views, and the convenient location. There was some confusion as to the sleeping accommodations because the listing said six bedrooms, and there were only four. The twins were smaller than your average twins, and the tv was VERY small (which was a disappointment for the football fans in our group), but the bathrooms were large and two of them were modern. Overall, it was a wonderful house and the pictures do not do it justice. There is a great trail nearby. The town is very close and had several stores and restaurants. We would absolutely come back!!!!
We had a wonderful long weekend at Susan’s house. Susan was super responsive to all our questions and communications and made us feel very much at home. We were planning to stay in town but this place was perfect - lovely views of the river and only a 4 minute drive into downtown Belfast. It’s close to a walking/biking trail that goes to downtown Belfast (and next time we’ll bring our bikes). The kitchen is well equipped - we cooked several meals and she had everything we needed. We enjoyed evenings reading by the gas fireplace.
Wonderful stay at the "Passy House" on the Passagassawakeag River
This was the perfect place to get away to in Maine. The house is spacious, comfortable and nicely appointed with gorgeous views of the rolling meadows with apple trees and a large boat dock on the tidal river - all within a short backyard walk from the house.
Highly recommended for kayaking and then walking or biking along the nearby Rail Trail to town. We met the owner and her family, the absolutely nicest people, who did everything and more to welcome us and make us feel at home, in their home.
You will enjoy the bright and sunny glassed-in porch and large modern kitchen, with comfortable furniture in every room and sparkling clean bathrooms. Enjoy!
