Great Hosting House

We had family travel across the country and stay in several short term rentals. This house was the natural hang-out spot because it offered tremendous outdoor space and amenities in a great location. The house has oversized bedrooms. Highly recommend this house and host.

Great location close to Universal

My family and I stayed for our trip to Universal. The location was nice, large and greay location to Universal (8 min drive). Could park two cars in the driveway and was generally easy to get in and out of the property. Owner was easy to communicate with and helped with any questions we had.

Peaceful considering the circumstances

The property was incredible and just as advertised. Property owner has customer service down. Vacation was impacted by the Southwest Airlines fiasco and this property really came through as promised and expected. Thank you to Melissa and team.

National Championship

We found this last minute opportunity that all 4 couples thoroughly enjoyed! Quaint newly updated home with 4 queen beds for a comfortable stay ! I got ‘kudos’ from my biggest critics on the awesome find-and special thanks to Melissa for keeping me posted on all the important information. I didn’t get time to review Al of it since it was so last minute but we would all definitely stay here again! Warmest wishes and thank you for the experience 😉

Quick stay in LA

We recently stayed at this house in Studio City. We chose it primarily for it’s proximity to family we were visiting. The house is a good size for a guest party of 4-6 people. The rooms were spacious and inviting. The outdoor living space was certainly a highlight with a wonderful grilling station and abundant seating for lounging and dining. The only negatives were the road noise (we did not know Laurel Canyon was a busy street just outside the front gate) and the mattresses are getting old and need to be replaced. But, these issues did not prevent us from enjoying our time while staying at the house. Lastly, Melissa was very attentive and responsive. She could not have been better.

Perfect Location and beautiful house

Our stay couldn't have been more perfect! We wanted to rent a place close to Universal Studios. This house was gorgeous and clean and had plenty of linens/towels for the amount of rooms and guests who stayed. The kids even made use of the front area outside which had nice shade and open area. Since everything was gated and enclosed we felt very safe. We were 2 families (5 adults and 5 kids) and fit comfortably here. We arrived and check in was a breeze... Melissa informed us that the previous renter broke the coffee pot (not a problem since she had one delivered the following day). Another plus is that 2 cars could fit in the parking area plus plenty of shops and markets near by! We had a fantastic time and the kids even said one of the best parts was staying at the fancy house together 😂 (well look at that) Wonderful place hope to be back again!

Ten day stay at this property

This house is ideally located and is very spacious. Bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed and clean. Melissa was responsive to requests for adequate kitchen tools and pots, which had not been on site. However the outdoor kitchen and space had not been cleaned in some time and all furniture was dirty. Leaves had not been swept out. Floors on the first floor were not clean. Cushions and indoor furniture were stained and shabby. There were no cleaning supplies on site to even clean outdoor furniture to make them usable. This was disappointing.

The property listing stated the garage was available for parking IT IS NOT. There is a gate in the back where you have to park - no parking in front of the property. The gate has an automatic timer to close it. However, the sensor was not working properly and the gate hit and damaged my car. The hosts response when I reported it was less than professional and assumed no accountability. The parking is TIGHT if you have more than one car. There were empty shampoo containers in the bathrooms

Short and sweet

Our daughter was at a summer program at Harvard Westlake, so proximity and comfort were our two primary criterions and the property met both well. Only main issue was the Wifi speed could be improved, along with a better upgraded TV in the main living room.

Loved the place but it’s a little noisy outside in the courtyard area. But very close to Malibu, and Hollywood Hills and a lot of fun attarscrions!!

We stayed here for two nights to go to Universal Studios. The house is beautiful and so comfortable. Very easy to get to. Parking was great. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Stay-Highly Recommend

Plenty of room for our 9 guests, well stocked, close to Universal Studios. We really enjoyed the home. The property manager was extremely helpful and fast to respond to all questions we had. We are smokers and had lots of outdoor seating to enjoy and relax. The home is on a busy street so there is some noise but the high wall made it feel like we were in our own little sanctuary. We had 4 cars due to coming from multiple states, parking was a worry at first but there was always parking available on a close by street so no problem at all. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked, the claw foot tub upstairs was a real treat for soaking after walking all day at the park. Overall wonderful stay and no complaints at all.
