Great condo but didn’t like on third floor all stairs, parking garage hard angle to park since last parking stall, two of the bedroom heaters didn’t work had to use space heaters, and had to call for help since codes for outdoor spa and front door didn’t work at checkin.

Hello Faramarz,
We appreciate your feedback, as guest satisfaction is always our top priority. We do advertise the accessibility of all our units, including flights of stairs, as we feel this information is crucial for inquiring guests. We do also advertise that the parking garage is tandem parking so that our guests are aware of possible difficulties in advance.
We also investigated the heaters following your stay and noted that they were functioning, they just don't operate if the room temperature is above the set temperature. Regarding the access codes, the spa code/laundry codes are extremely specific and noted as such in the guest portal. The front door codes are set up to begin working at the check-in time and to stop at checkout time. Even if it's just a few seconds prior to check-in, the codes will not activate.
Again, we appreciate you sharing your experience and allowing us to share additional insight regarding your concerns and issues.
Cheers,
The Nomadness Team
It was a very nice property close to the lifts. We enjoyed our stay there.

We had a great stay, easy walk to the Canyon Lodge - garage was great so we didn’t have to dig out our cars after the heavy snow.

My family and I had a great trip! The property manager had great communication on what to expect given the snowstorms during that weekend. The location was walking distance to canyon lodge so very convenient for us. Overall we’d definitely be back here!

Great location, smaller than described
The location was great, home was clean other than the back bedroom had lots of dog hair from the previous renters. Had all the kitchen and bathroom utensils needed for our stay. The back bedroom also had a heater that did not work but we found a space heater we could use. The toaster and ice maker also did not work but not a huge deal. Overall it was a good place to stay. We have stayed in quite a few condos in Mammoth and this was definitely one of the better ones.

Maintenance issues - honest review that I hope helps make an informed decision
This unit has a ton of pluses but I would not recommend it based on our experience. The main issue was that the master bath tub leaked water into the bedroom below. Property management sent a maintenance person to check it out and they found the entire faucet fixture needed replacing. They would have to talk to the owner and see about sending a plumber to replace the fixture.

We appreciate you bringing this issue to our attention, as it allows us to address it and improve the property for future guests. Our team has addressed the issue since reported. We value your feedback and hope that you will consider staying with us again in the future, where we can strive to provide a more positive experience.
This was indeed a nice modern condo, extremely clean, walkable to Canyon Lodge, close to Vons only 15 minute drive. Kitchen was great to cook in and overall experence at condo was excellent. Quiet condo community. Really liked garage and actually fit large 2024 Jeep Wagoneer. Sheets were clean, 3 bathrooms were great and water pressure was amazing!Only cons were: I didn't get the code to the condo until I called Nomad but customer service was great and she gave me the code.Heaters in downstairs bedrooms were not working. Could'nt figure out to turn on fireplace but that was probably due to operator error. Also this condo is on the top floor be advised stairs will need to be climbed.Overall this was a great stay Mammoth.

Hello Anna,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on your recent stay! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the modern condo, its cleanliness, proximity to Canyon Lodge, and the convenient location near Vons. We're also glad you found the kitchen well-equipped and appreciated the quiet community. We sincerely apologize for the delay in providing the condo code. We understand the frustration this caused and appreciate that our customer service representative was able to assist you promptly.
Regarding the heaters in the downstairs bedrooms and the fireplace, we will investigate these issues and address them promptly. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We value your feedback and strive to continuously improve our guest experience. We hope you will consider staying with us again in the future.
Sincerely,
The Nomadness Rentals Team
This is a great condo by Canyon Lodge that comfortably fit 6 adults and 2 dogs. Each room had their own bathroom/shower. The beds were comfortable, and everything was renovated.
Cons: We were provided the wrong check-in code to the door, so we had to call the service line to get a new code. The coffee maker in the unit is a Keurig machine so we were unable to use the ground coffee we bought for a drip machine (this would have been nice to know before our trip so we can plan accordingly and bring Keurig pods instead). While it was fine for us, there are quite a bit of stairs (some being very steep on the outside) to the unit. It is located on the 3rd floor. The spiral staircase could be challenging for a large person because of how narrow it is you can easily hit your head coming down on the ceiling that connects the lower level to the stairs. Lastly, the jacuzzi was cloudly and smelled like mildew and the area was boarded up to prevent snow from getting in.
Minus the minor cons, this is still a great unit for able-bodied adults that dont mind stairs and a place for their pets!

We are delighted you found the unit comfortable and roomy for your group! We are sorry to hear about issues you had with the access code - these are auto-generated for your arrival and departure based on your reservation dates and standard check-in/out times. Unfortunately, as we've all experienced, technology can sometimes fail and we are disappointed you had any such issues during your arrival process.
Regarding the coffee amenities - we are restricted with sharing the specific types of such appliances, as we find they are frequently accidentally damaged and must be replaced with whatever stock is available for that given moment.
As we understand the challenges that may occur from the stair access for this property, we provide such specific information within the listing's description.
Again, thank you for sharing these key points of your Nomadness getaway and we hope you'll visit us again soon!
Cheers,
The Nomadness Team
I would never recommend this property to anyone that I know. We stayed here for three weeks and had a horrible experience. We have been traveling for 3 months and have not had a bad experience anywhere else.
First of all, the management company (Nomadness Rentals) is very poorly run. A few examples:
- They included the wrong information about where the laundry and hottub are in the welcome binder. As such we used the wrong location. The office then called us and yelled at us for using the wrong location.
- We asked where we could send mail and the company told us to send it to their office in Mammoth. The office would call us at 4:30 and tell us we had to come pick up our packages at 5 every day. After a few days, they called us and rudely asked us to stop sending mail to their office, even though they were the ones who instructed us to send mail there in the first place.
- Lastly, the management company gave my personal phone number to the HOA of the unit without my permission. This is an extreme breach of privacy.
Additionally the HOA is incredibly nosy and rude to guests as well. Our car would not fit in the garage (careful! This is not mentioned on the listing!) and the HOA would not let us park in the driveway due to the plow, even though it did not snow for our entire stay. Whenever we parked the car in the driveway to unload items, the HOA would call or text me immediately and tell me I had 30 mins to move the car. Again, Nomadness was of no help with this issue. They did not find somewhere else for us to park our car and would not pay for overnight parking (as there is no free overnight parking in Mammoth). This added 100s of dollars to our stay.
Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Both the management company and the HOA made our vacation a chore and caused problems for us every single day of our stay.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear you had such a frustrating experience. We apologize for any miscommunication. We work hard to provide excellent customer service before, during, & after each renter's stay. We provide many forms of communication for our renters and homeowners, & we keep our office hours open from 9:00 am-9:00 pm Monday - Friday, and 10:00 am-4:00 pm Saturday/Sunday, we also provide a 24-hour emergency line just in case any renter may need us. We are always happy to answer any questions any renters have before booking our properties. Most guests with a larger vehicle, especially a sprinter van reach out and ask for the garage clearance. Any average garage cannot accommodate this type of van. Because you did not take your oversize vehicle into consideration, we reached out to several other homeowners on our program to see if they will allow you to park your vehicle. Once we found a homeowner who graciously offered to allow you to park your vehicle there, we informed you that we were going to be providing them with your number so they can update you regarding snowplow removal. When the homeowner left his property after his stay, he said you can still park there, except on the weekends. Our CRS team then again reached out to other homeowners, and unfortunately, we could not find anything available. Unfortunately, we did not have a FREE solution for you on the weekends. Having an oversize vehicle like this comes with its own set of burdens/costs that as a vehicle owner. Our services typically do not include handling packages, especially during a pandemic, however, our team agreed to hold from what we were told a few packages. We received 5-10 packages daily including COVID Tests in our office, sorting, holding, and paying for people to be here for you to pick them up. Our staff apologizes for leaving the wrong welcome book in your listing. All of our calls are recorded & after listening to the CSR explain what happen, she by no means yelled at you, she kindly informed you of the situation, apologized, then provided a place for you to take your clothes to wash if you needed. The homeowner informed us that there is a laundry facility for you to use in the complex. Again, we are so sorry for this inconvenience & apologize for the miscommunication on our end. We overall hoped you had a nice experience in the condo, this property is awesome, the review does not reflect the condo itself, just several communication errors.
The unit was nicely updated throughout. One issue is it is on the very top of the stairs to get to the unit. Also can use some new pots and pans as the ones provided were not very good, (did not have a good non stick surface). however the unit was comfortable and being within walking distance to Caynon was a big plus so you can access the gondola to goto town.
