This cabin was perfect for our family of five. (Kids Ages 6, 15, 13) They had everything we needed for a wonderful week long vacation. The cabin is close to eveything you need but also gives you a small town feel. We enjoyed walking into the town itself and saw wildlife everyday. Would stay here again.

We arrived at the house and it was clean and ready for us to enjoy. We used this house as a center to see the sights in the area. Great location to visit Pike's Peak, Garden of the Gods, and Colorado Springs. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Would recommend for others.

This is a nicely updated, well equipped, comfortable cabin. Downtown Green Mountain Falls is walkable from this cabin. There are comfortable spaces in the back yard and front porch. Also, if you are into hiking the trails around GMF, several trailheads are nearby. The host was responsive and check-in was easy. We would rate this cabin more than 5 stars if we could.

Where to begin…we loved everything about this cabin. Not only was it stocked and outfitted so well, but the location was absolutely perfect. We loved that we felt quite off the beaten path but were actually just minutes from the main artery. 10 minutes to the grocery store and not much further to some really great attractions. We only wished we had more time - we’d love to come back!

This cabin had everything we needed. We loved the board games, the hot tub and hangout areas. Downfall was that we came during a "heatwave" and the house was hot due to no a/c. The fans and things helped some once the sun went down. Other than that the place was wonderful and we enjoyed hiking, our trip to pikes peak and exploring the little town of Green Mountain Falls.

We all enjoyed the hot tub, the home was perfect for our family, lots of towels, loved the extra touches, chapstick toiletry items, extra blankets, kitchen well stocked. We would definitely come again….Close enough to Colorado Springs but in the mountains.

nice family getaway

We were looking for a "home base" for all of things to see and do in this area. This cabin was great for this. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

The Lazy Squirrel Lodge was an amazing mountain cabin! It was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our family of 6, while still having that charming and authentic rustic mountain vibe. The place was very clean, well stocked and had everything we needed for our family to have a great stay. We also loved the large hot tub for late day/evening soaks after our long days of mountain exploring.
