The property was very clean. We enjoyed the arcade type games and ping pong in the converted garage, as well as the hot tub. The bed in the primary bedroom was very comfortable, plenty of pillows available, lots of towels, including beach towels for hot tub. The host provided a more than adequate supply of toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing supplies, and laundry detergent. The host was also a very good communicator and replied promptly. The listing noted the steep driveway: they aren’t kidding! Be prepared for that and for a very dark neighborhood, if arriving after sunset. The decor is cute, especially the fireplace. Some of the furniture is a little worn and paint in a few areas could use a touch up, none of which affected our experience. Overall, a very quiet, tranquil stay.

Great location for Garden of Gods and Pikes Peak. Manitou and Old Colorado City close with charming downtowns with good restaurants. Recent rain had rutted drive so we appreciated owners suggestion of suv! Backyard bit overgrown (again due to rain) so often went to dog park at Bear Creek.

The home was clean & as described. We didn't use the hot tub bc it was warm while we were there. Coming from Louisiana we were surprised that there was no a/c, but that wasn't an issue bc there were fans available and the windows opened up to let in some cool air & circulate the air. We didn't have any issues during our stay, but the host was available & checked in on us. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Colorado.

The cabin itself was great. The driveway was terrible. Our minivan could not get into the steep washed out driveway without scraping the bumper. Concerns were addressed with host and no attempt was made to resolve or communicate. The kids room tv had a parental lock on it with no way to remove. Also addressed with host and no attempt to resolve or communicate a way to fix. Several days went by with no communication only to receive an automated response asking us to let them know if anything was needed and never get a reply.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was as described and had everything we needed. The location is amazing! We’d come back to the house for lunch between activities since it’s so close to Manitou. Thanks so much!

This place was absolutely perfect! The location was near everything but still gave us the privacy we were looking for. We enjoyed coffee in the hot tub every morning and played games in the game room every night. They offer a grill however we were unable to us it because of a burn ban. I would highly recommend checking out the mad hatter bar and grill about three mins away!

Beautiful stay and wonderful service. This was exactly what we needed for a small vacation. We had a little issue with the thermostat upstairs the first night but the host had it fixed the next day for us. We have no complaints

Beautiful setting, but you definitely need 4WD like the host says for the driveway. The house doesn’t have AC, which is probably fine most of the time. However, it was super hot when we were there and there was only one working fan provided and several windows were missing screens, making it hard to cool the place down. We showed up 20 minutes before check in and the cleaning crew was still there. We came back several hours later. When we got into the house, there were several cleaning deficiencies, such as the house smelling like dog, laundry left unfinished, an unwashed coffee pot, and the ice maker chute clogged. We reached out to the host to ask about fans and window screens, but didn’t receive a timely reply. The hot tub was nice and we appreciated that the kitchen had everything we needed.

We had a great stay! This was a wonderful place to come relax and have a good time after spending the day hiking and exploring the nearby towns. The hot tub was great and pretty clean. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. We also really enjoyed the ping pong table and other games in the garage area. Overall, this was a great place to stay for the price.
