A vintage cabin tucked away in a quiet mountain neighborhood just minutes away from multiple activities. We enjoyed our stay and the owners were awesome. I would not hesitate to book again.
Enjoyed our stay- the cabin was as pictured. It was quiet, clean, and a fun get away. Unfortunately there were mice or bats in the ceiling which only figured out for sure on our last night in the cabin and we were told would be taken care of for the next guest.
This was our first time at this cabin. It was really nice. Loved the location! We are a family of 5 and it was just the perfect size for us. Very close to a lot of plenty of things to do with a family. Nice area to hike also. Owner and property manager were extremely nice. Would definitely recommend
What an amazing view we had at this cabin! It made us feel remote while also being reasonably (and conveniently) close to the highway. Loved being able to go to the Green Mountain Falls shops and restaurants that were nearby.
We really enjoyed the cabin and the surrounding beauty. We had a great stay. It is a rustic cabin. so you should adjust you expectations accordingly, but it was exactly what we were looking for.
Enjoyed our stay here. Shower head was a bit odd and a taller person would probably have an issue with it. Location close to area attractions but still remote which we enjoyed. Other cabins nearby but still felt secluded.

Wonderful
Wonderful atmosphere and very cozy cabin. Absolutely loved it.
This little cabin was perfect for my husband and I. We appreciate peaceful spots and we certainly found it. The view is stunning and the town is beautiful. We had a little difficulty with the property manager but nothing major. We met the owners and they were very kind and friendly. Not the least bit intrusive. I enjoyed our stay so much that I wished we could stay longer.
My two grown children loved it! The electrical outlet situation could be improved lol. Overall they enjoyed it alot! Very, very steep road getting up and surrounding yard area not suitable for small children, too dangerous. But for 2 adults....Yes Ma'am!!!
Remote but not! Close to lots of things to do!!
Quite a walk to see the falls but loved it; Within the neighborhood! Did it twice! Thanks for having everything a person would need!

The cabin you visualize when you think of a rustic cabin
Remember the old knotty pine cabin you stayed in on the family vacations you took in your childhood. The cabin you still dream about. Well, travel to almost the end of a narrow mountain dead end trail and there it is, the cabin of your memories, only better. We loved it and will dream of it until we can come back.
Not just a "stay" rather an experience and an excellent one at that.cozy cabin surrounded by nature.had all the essentials, lacked nothing.Lived up to the description and then some.No wonder reviews were extraordinary.would love to stay again.had the pleasure of meeting and conversing with Mike, the owner and a helluva nice man.In fact everyone in this picturesque and serene town were friendly like in the " old days".Highly recommend

Beautiful setting!
The cabin is beautiful, and in a gorgeous setting. Quiet, peaceful, and serene. The owners have provided everything needed to enjoy some time away from home. We saw lots of wildlife, including a young buck and doe that wandered through on our last morning. We have a little free library at home, and love that you have books in the cabin for guests. We added several to the shelves. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place for a getaway!

Memorable experience!
I stayed in this cabin in the late 70s when it was owned by a family friend. It was great to revisit it again 40 years later. Besides the blue skies, the getaway feeling, the ability to be one with nature, I will remember the people of Green Mountain Falls the most. For families wanting to see the area in a short amount of time without feeling pressed for time, GMF is the perfect location. You are a relatively short distance away from many great excursions and down the "hill" are many great places to visit. Be sure to check out the local breweries and the craft beers you can't get back home.

Perfect Mountain Retreat!
We just returned from a wonderful weekend getaway, and couldn't have been happier with this little cabin. The living room was larger than we'd expected from the pictures, and the furniture was so comfortable! The wood burning fireplace gave the cabin a wonderful campfire smell, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. We left a few spices, condiments and oils behind, as had other guests before us--the cooking basics are likely there for you :) The bed was SO comfortable, and it felt like we were sleeping in a nest or a treehouse with those treetops right outside the window. Coffee on the deck in the morning was as peaceful as can be. The location was perfect--you are close to area attractions (Garden of the Gods was amazing!) but you still feel like you are away from it all. We found people to be so friendly in Woodland Park, Cascade, Green Mountain Falls and Manitou Springs. We are so happy we stumbled upon this gem in our search for rentals, and would definitely recommend to others. Thank you for sharing this cabin with us!!

The cabin was perfect for relaxing. I sat on the deck listening to nature and reading.
The cabin was adorable. I literally found myself reluctant to leave it to explore the area. It was secluded, but also close enough to anything you would need. The Blue Moose and The Pantry are local businesses that were great to visit. The reservoirs at Pikes Peak were close to travel to and too beautiful to describe with words. Honestly, though, I just wanted to sit on the deck of the cabin and be still. If you need to have a little "stillness" in your life, this is the place. That being said, though, when we did venture out, the people of Green Mountain Falls were so kind and friendly. Everyone we spoke to treated us as though we had been lifelong friends. Additionally, we were traveling with my four pound Maltese. The Blue Moose had no problem with me taking her onto their deck to have a drink and listen to the live music. The Pantry supplied her with a blanket to sit on and treats to eat while we had their wonderful breakfast. Overall, it was just a wonderful experience. The only thing I would suggest for the cabin is possibly a handheld showerhead. I'm a tall woman, and the showerhead was at my shoulders. We will definitely return to the cabin and the Green Mountain Falls area again when life gets hectic.
