Mystic Pines Cabin is a beautiful and spacious two-story, 3 Bedroom, Historic Cabin, tastefully renovated with all the modern conveniences and stylish interior.

With an inviting open floor plan, 8 person dining room, and large living area with ample seating, this cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The wrap around deck features a propane fire pit surrounded by classic Adirondack chairs for relaxing under the stars, a redwood picnic bench set under market lights for outdoor dining and a new BBQ for grilling.

The cabin is well appointed with all the modern comforts needed for your stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, coffee station, Public Goods bath products, a record player, board games, books and a Wi-Fi/Netflix enabled TV.

Mystic Pines Cabin is located in the quaint, historic community of Sugar Pine, once a thriving Logging town from 1889-1931. Wind your way along the Lewis Creek and enjoy the beautiful dogwood blossoms, wild sweet peas and many ferns surrounding the cabin. Drop a line in the creek for trout, hike the Lewis Creek Trail, or enjoy a relaxing afternoon on the expansive deck.

Beautiful weekend getaway

This was a fantastic property cabin just about 10 minutes south of the south entrance to Yosemite and the Mariposa Grove. The place was clean, well appointed and beautifully decorated. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Stay

My family and I had a fantastic stay at Mystic Pines. The cabin is immaculate, well stocked, and beautifully furnished. The kitchen had great quality pots, pans, and utensils to allow for us to cook throughout the week. Laura (the owner) is extremely responsive and helpful. She provided great tips and recommendations that really helped to make our stay special. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Family getaway

This was our second time staying at this property. This time it was full of snow and a real winter wonderland. We love to explore the kids love fishing in the pond. The property is cozy. We will definitely be back.

NIce spot and quiet place

Thank you very much for letting us experience cabine life in your beautiful spot. You have done such a nice job with the decoration and all the littles attentions that made our stay more enjoyable. The beautiful deck, the fire place, the boards game and the vintage turn table have definitely made this sport our prefered place in the entire vacation. So a quiet place.

Yosemite trip

We loved our stay at this beautiful mountain cabin. We had considered staying at the Wawona, or the Tenaya Lodge, but for a family of four, hotels and lodges are very cramped and we were so glad we chose to stay here! There’s a spacious master bedroom, and two additional upstairs bedrooms with plenty of room for a large family. The cabin is impeccably maintained. Usually, when staying at a VRBO, we need to stop ahead of time and pick up supplies. In this case, the kitchen was stocked with everything a cook could ask for - A new container of olive oil, Himalayan salt grinder, pepper grinder, coffee, filters, digital meat thermometer, etc - truly a chef’s kitchen, with all the things you wish you would remember to bring from home. The location is very close to the park entrance, a perfect base for spending your days hiking in Yosemite. The property owner was very gracious at every stage of the booking process. We will stay here again on our next trip to Yosemite!

Cabin in the woods.

It's a great place to get away from the fast pace of the city life and to get in touch with nature. The kids had a blast on the creek. The creek in front of the cabin just adds to the magic of the place. It peaceful and relaxing. Only wish I could've stayed there longer, we didn't want to leave the place. Really enjoyed our stay. We are hoping to go back soon.

Tidy Cabin, Very Nice Stay

This house was just as advertised. Clean, nice design, lots of thought to the details. Everything was smooth and easy. The location is nestled in the trees with a small creek nearby. We had terrible smoke during our stay so couldn’t take advantage of the deck but seems like it would be a great place to hang normally. A lovely stay!

Fantastic Getaway That You Do Not Want To Miss!

We Very much enjoyed our stay at this location. It is a Very short drive to the Yosemite Southgate for entrance and is also close to the downtown part of Oakhurst, which has anything needed. This house is Immaculately clean, with everything laid out perfectly. Many amenities are provided. There is everything needed to cook your own meals if desired. The set-up for the outside deck is great for time spent outside. Our party had a huge age range, from 3 to almost 50, and this place accommodates this age range easily. The owner was Extremely easy to reach and provides all the information needed for a very easy check-in/check-our process. The owner Really took the time to think through the needs of the people, who will stay here, and it shows! The only critic we had, which should be an effortless fix, is this place needs a lot more fans, as the upstairs does get hot, which is very normal for any upstairs in hot conditions. The fans that have a water component are perfect. Several more fans like this for all the upstairs and downstairs shared spaces, would be absolutely perfect and completely fix this issue. That is honestly the Only complaint we had. Everything else was Perfection! We would Definitely stay here again! It is one of the Absolute Best Places I have ever stayed from any short term rental place used.

Serene Escape

Mystic Pines was an excellent family vacation spot! We felt immediately at home in the well-equipped cabin. Everything has been thoughtfully designed and stocked. There is also great communication with the property manger. The setting was perfect, as we were surrounded by beautiful trees and the creek. The location was accessible for day trips and then we could return to the comfort of the cabin. We especially enjoyed the opportunity to use the deck and fire pit each night. We had a wide age range in our group (including grandparents and young children) and all were comfortable and enjoyed the time immensely.

Beautiful cabin for our trip to Yosemite!

We stayed here for our trip to Yosemite - about 25 mins from Mariposa Grove, 1hr 15m from Yosemite Valley, and about 2hrs from the Sunrise Lake trailhead. We loved everything about this cabin. It was beautifully decorated with great amenities and fantastic kitchen supplies in a quiet area. Beds and pillows were GREAT, something that can be hard to find in a rental property. This place 100% felt like a vacation home, not a place built just for renting. Great kitchen supplies, for example, a real knife set which was great for cookie. We loved the porch and the twinkle lights. And we loved the number of beds - plenty of space; however, know that there is only 1.5 baths., which was not an issue at all for our group. We had 5 people and never ran out of hot water. Pictures and descriptions were very accurate. Check-in and check-out was easy. Note that we did not have much service (Verizon was best, Tmobile had little to no service) but wifi was great, even for video calls. Thank you for a great stay!

Mystic Pines 6/14/21

It was a nice experience but did not have a reservation to enter Yosemite which is why we rented this place. House is alright and we like that there is a stream nearby. On our last day my son had a hiking accident and had to go to Fresno hospital’s emergency room to get proper medical help. He stayed there for 5 hours. We requested late check out after being in emergency room until 2 am. Property manager gave us an additional 30 minutes. While we were getting ready the cleaning woman showed up before 10:30 am. She was rude and just wanted us out of the house immediately - no manners at all. Overall experience was ok.

Amazing Cabin!!!

We loved everything about our stay at Mystic Pines cabin. The location is gorgeous. The whole place was immaculate. We were close to Yosemite and many great restaurants. We loved walking around the area around the cabin. Our son loved the record player. The overall experience was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely cabin in the woods with little extras

We have a lovely stay at the cabin- everything was clean and neat and looks freshly decorated. I loved the little touches like beer glasses in the freezer, kids plates and cutlery and lots of games for both adult and kids. we really enjoyed the setting in the woods and the firepit making smores. Would love to visit again in the summer to explore the creek more too!
