Stayed August 2026 for 3 nights.Overall nice property with a really nice pool and quiet location on the lake. It could be a nice place except for the downsides of the home: (1) bugs everywhere inside (roaches, black beetles, spiders) (2) filthy windows that take away from the lake view (3) stained furniture that needs cleaning (couches, dining chairs, outside furniture) (4) oven was filthy (I had to run a clean cycle) (5) rust/mold in some showers with a rust patch on the kitchen fridge.With some proper and consistent maintenance, the house could be a nice vacation spot for a family. It’s close to decent restaurants and other amenities.

The bedroom layout was perfect for our big extended family. The pool and hot tub were a hit with the grandkids. We were so glad we had the pool as the lake was not suitable for swimming in the cove. The kitchen was well equipped. There were plenty of pool towels for everyone. The first level floor plan was perfect for a big extended family as was the outdoor seating areas. The proximity to restaurants and grocery store was fantastic.We could not connect the tablet to the wifi and use the speakers both inside and outside for music. The instructions in the house information book regarding the sound system were not helpful. We had an issue with the pool water quality after a few days but a pool maintenance guy was sent out in a timely fashion to add more chlorine. We did not have chlorine tablets for the hot tub but management delivered them in a timely fashion. The garbage disposal broke down during our stay but a plumber came to fix it in a timely fashion. There were a lot of gnats both dead and alive around all the windows especially on the second floor. We also saw a lot of dead cockroaches throughout the house and there was a live mouse hanging out under a cabinet in the family room. We did notice a mouse trap there. The front bedroom facing the lake on the second floor (not the master) could have used black out curtains as it was very bright in the morning. The master did have black out curtains.All in all it was a great vacation with lots of wonderful memories.

Amazing property

End of Summer Vacation

Delightful

We had an absolutely lovely time at this property. Three families enjoyed fall break week at the house. The home is beautiful, well-appointed, and spacious. We rented a boat from the nearby marina and enjoyed the fire pit and large yard. Unfortunately the pool heater was broken so it was a big cold for swims, but otherwise we had a great time. Highly recommend this property and would definitely book it again.

Great Thanksgiving

This was a perfect place to have family at Thanksgiving. We had 10 people ages 23-79 years old. Plenty to do outside and inside, the game room, putting green, and pool table all had lots of use. The kitchen was great for preparing Thanksgiving dinner. We had everything we needed. A great time was had by all.

Amazing Experience

The look on my family’s face when they entered the property was enough to let me know they were beyond satisfied. We didn’t have to leave the property. It was a peaceful, yet fun weekend. From the games, to fishing, to the fire pit, to enjoying mimosas on the patio while watching football. Everything was wonderful.

Great stay!

Eight of us including four children had a great day! The house has tons of space, an amazing supply of cooking equipment as well as an outdoor grill set up with a outdoor fridge. The pool was perfect and has a shallow area for the little kids who aren't great swimmers yet. We rented a boat and they delivered it right to our dock. The house manager was very quick when we communicated any small issues that arose. We can't wait to come back!

Great get-away

The property was amazing. On the second night the dishwasher broke and the property management team had it fixed by lunchtime the next day - truly excellent customer support. Everything was perfect. only issue was that the listing from about a year ago when we booked wasn't as clear as I expected on their being no full bedrooms on the first floor, but the current listing is very descriptive for what the house is. This was a great rental on a great lake.

Gorgeous home in a perfect cove!

Like previous guests of this wonderful home we have only superlatives to describe how nice of a place it is - especially for a group of adults (in our case all family). We particularly enjoyed the pool, covered outdoor seating area with ceiling fans and a TV perfect for watching World Cup games, etc.The kitchen is well stocked and has plenty of space for prepping, mixing and cooking with a crowd. Our only advice is if you bring or rent a boat, the cove is quite shallow so be mindful of the dredged lane marked by stakes to travel in/out of the dock from the deeper parts of the lake. Highly recommend this beautiful home!

Beautiful home!

The layout of the house was perfect for us. Our adult children are excellent cooks so the kitchen was perfect.however the oven didn’t quite reach temperature & boiling water on the stove took a very long time. We enjoyed the pool & loved the shade that the patio provided while watching Wimbledon. I do wish there were more king beds or twin beds. The queens aren’t very practical. However we truly enjoyed our stay.

10 For Certain

We were very pleased with the house. We have stayed in many rentals over the years. The Blue Heron is the best by far. Loved the cleanness and privacy. I expected it to be just an ok house.. nothing special The pictures do not do justice to the house! Loved the layout of the house and all the extras. If we are in the area again we definitely would rent again. Thanks for sharing your house!
