About this property

Come, relax and enjoy fishing right off the private, covered dock steps away from the back porch. Conveniently located in Spring Creek on beautiful Lake Seminole, this property is 5 min from Big Jim's Oyster Bar/boat ramp as well as 20 min from Earl May Boat Basin in Bainbridge. The spacious interior features 3 bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen and 2 twins) and 2 full baths, which can accommodate up to 6 guests.

This house is a wonderful retreat for those who are wanting to just relax for a bit and take in some of the most amazing sunrises in the country. It is also a great place to stay for Bass fishermen/duck hunters/alligator hunters!

Tournament fishermen: We're Only 17 miles from Bainbridge, GA and the boat basin; and just five minutes away from Big Jim's boat launch. We have ample parking for up to up to four trucks/boats along with a covered dock that can fit two Bass boats. There are four power outlets available on the shed and house, and two on the dock.

Cook dinner in the fully stocked kitchen or head out for the night and grab a delicious dinner at Big Jim's Oyster Bar.

An awesome lake house.

We rented the house for three nights because we were fishing a tournament out of big Jim’s on Lake Seminole, which is about five minutes away. There was plenty of parking for two trucks and two boats. The house is perfect. It slept all four of us with no problems. There is a very nice dock right behind the house and a great view of the lake. And Ryan (the owner) was awesome. He’s very quick to respond to any questions or concerns that you might have. I would recommend this house to anyone.

Our stay was filled with "Southern Comfort"

We had a wonderful stay at Southern Comfort. The house was very clean and charming. We enjoyed fishing everyday from the dock and just relaxing. The neighbor was very helpful in teaching us the tricks on how to fish the lake. The house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We can't express enough how happy we were and will hopefully get to return in the future.

Pleasant week

It was a fishing week for my husband but he was a bit disappointed not knowing the secret for fishing this lake. We left a day early and happened to talk to the neighbors and got the secrets. We were already loaded so left. Good thing because I found out I had Pneumonia when we got home. Ugh!!

Dated but clean

Property was very clean and spacious in some areas. The great room, master bath, and sun room with laundry were all large. Kitchen and other two bedrooms were small. Bedroom with standard bed had no window. The bed was comfortable but could use a new mattress. Did not like having to drive about 1/2 mile on dirt road to reach property.

Hi, my name is Ryan. I am an Airforce veteran and an avid bass fisherman. Lake Seminole is one of my favorite lakes; and I have fished more tournaments on this lake than I can count! My wife, Angie and I have three children. We currently live in Crestview, FL. When Southern Comfort Lake House isn't booked, we will often come up with the kids to enjoy some fishing and R&R. 5 minutes from Big Jim's boat ramp. Oversized Covered Boat Dock holds 2 Bass boats, with running water, fish cleaning area & electricity for charging 12-24 volt batteries. Additionally, batteries can be charged from back porch or front shed.
