About this property

Perfect historic home + Peloton, walk to downtown Annapolis

Lovely historic home within walking distance from downtown (1 mile from Church Circle) & Navy stadium (5 blocks), hardwood floors, remodeled kitchen & baths, tall ceilings & bright spaces carefully decorated & furnished for maximum comfort.

Lots of original artwork throughout the home, a piano & a selection of board games to keep you entertained. All this... and lightening fast WiFi through Verizon Fios (download speed up to 500 Mbps).

Relax & enjoy al fresco dining in the back patio, sitting on the front porch. Pets welcome! Private driveway fits 2 medium size cars, and there's plenty of street parking, too.

- THE SPACE:
All amenities provided for a hotel-like experience. Emphasis on a very clean space, professionally cleaned before each reservation.
Plush towels, lots of sleeping pillows to choose from - down, synthetic, for back or stomach sleepers!
But also, a fully equipped kitchen with fine dishes and cookware, and stocked pantry so you don't have to buy condiments, cooking oil, etc.

- GUEST ACCESS:
Guests have access to the main home (except areas/closets marked “Private”) and back yard, but not the tenant's house in the back yard (separate entrance/gate). The outside space is shared for their access to the front street; if my tenant is present you will know ahead of time, and she will be mindful of your privacy.

You'll be staying in my private home, and I am available by phone or email to answer
all your questions from 8am to 8pm. (24/7 for emergencies)

> PET POLICY
Pets are welcome but you must disclose pet information ahead of time (type, number, and weight of pets). A pet fee of $100 will apply when pets are present. Because pet hair means more work, and the house is professionally cleaned before and after every stay.

Additionally, please follow my pet policy which is all common-sense and requires responsible ownership:
- guests agree to accept full and complete responsibility for any personal injury or property damage caused by the dog or suffered by any person during their stay;
- dogs are not allowed on furniture/guest beds at any time;
- my garden (both front and rear yards) shall not be used as relief areas for your pets;
- guests are responsible for cleaning up any and all dog refuse, as well as cleaning/drying off the dog before he/she comes indoors.
See house manual upon reservation for full details.

> OCCUPANCY TAX:
Please note the occupancy tax of 7% applicable inside the City of Annapolis is NOT included in your VRBO quote online, and will be charged upon checkin through the VRBO platform. I will remind you of this and give you the $ figure so you're fully aware of this cost. (The 7% is calculated on the total accommodation cost before fees/Maryland tax)

> LONGER STAYS:
I welcome long stays and will consider all reasonable offers particularly for the Spring and Summer months.

Nice winter get-away
We spent the month of February at this home, visiting with family in the area. The home is exactly as pictured, and Maryline was an attentive and responsive host. We had several family gatherings, and found that the kitchen was well-equipped. There were spices and other cooking supplies, like olive oil, flour and sugar so we were able to prepare meals easily. We walked often into Annapolis to dine out and sightsee. It was a 30 minute walk to the city dock from the home. It was convenient to have a driveway that fit two cars, as there is not much street parking available nearby. It was pretty quiet, although it was winter, and the backyard is fenced so it is private.

Home away from home
We really enjoyed our time in Maryline's home. We were there for a major surgery for my daughter and her home was our refuge for healing. It was very comfortable and homey feeling. Everything we needed was right there. Maryline is a wonderful host.

I have been living in Annapolis, MD for nearly 20 years. My son, my dog and I love spending time outdoors. We hike, we sail, we garden and we love to entertain friends and family too. You'll find my home is perfect for this!
A native of France, I've traveled the world for pleasure and business, but there is not place quite like home! I also speak a little Spanish :-)

Why they chose this property

My home is ideally located within walking distance to downtown Annapolis, the Navy stadium but with real easy access to major access routes (Rte 97 from Baltimore, or Rte 50 from the DC area). The proximity to three major airports also makes Annapolis a really easy place to live: BWI is 25 min away; DCA is 30 min away and IAD... well it depends, normally 1h15 sometimes more :)
I chose this home for its character, amenities and awesome location!

What makes this property unique

You'll love the open floor plan of the main level, the hardwood floor, the old-meets-new character and the superior comfort that I strive to achieve for every guest.
