It's amazing that Dale is willing to share her beautiful home. She is a gracious hostess, concerned that your stay is nothing but the best. We, and our guests, felt so at home in the house and the neighborhood. It was possibly a once in a life time experience.
The home is perfectly located so you can walk to virtually any location that you’d like to walk to. The place was beautiful. Perfectly clean, great deck and very well decorated. You will want for nothing in the kitchen which was very spacious The pantry is well stocked and there are two refrigerators. All the bedrooms have excellent mattresses and are quite large.
Dale was a perfect hostess. She was there to meet us when we arrived and available for any questions we had.
Pammie and I are already planning another trip to Beaufort and will stay here again if it’s available

.....and you were the perfect guests! We couldn't believe what great shape the house was in when we returned. Our neighbors want to know when you're coming back, which is a tall compliment!
This neighborhood, the historic Point in Beaufort is where you want to stay. There is really nothing else like it, and this is one of the only allowed rentals in the neighborhood. If it’s available, you should consider yourself lucky and rent it!
Dale and her home were everything we could have hoped for and more. The house has a wonderful layout, great air conditioning, water pressure that as my mother admirably said “could knock you into the next room” and a great design aesthetic in general. Dale’s kitchen is perhaps the center piece of the house, she has amazing cookware and every spice you could ever need. There is also a wonderful office with two desks that feels like you are in a secret treehouse, and the Wi-Fi was lightening fast. Parking was never an issue on the street and it’s the safest neighborhood we’ve ever been to. It was so lovely to be able to walk downtown or to the waterfront for a nice dinner, too. We would recommend this place to anyone.
I spent a month in this lovely house. The pictures barely do it justice. It is bright, serene - both stylish and liveable. It was a pleasure to return to after a day exploring Beaufort and environs - and there's lots to explore. The location - in the atmospheric residential area of The Point, within easy walking distance of all the charming town of Beaufort has to offer - Is ideal. Beaufort's charms Include a variety of good restaurants and cafes. If you prefer eating in, the kitchen is remarkably well set up and equipped. I have problems with allergies and sinuses and the heating/cooling and humidity control system is state of the art - a plus in winter or summer. It was wonderful to be there as spring began. I hope to return in warmer weather when I can take full advantage of the lovely - and surprisingly secluded - deck and the gorgeous beach at nearby Hunting Island State Park.
We just stayed for a month in this lovely property and wish we had planned to stayed longer. It was all we were hoping for and more! First of all, Beaufort is a lovely town with many things to do and see in the area. The house is located in "The Point" which is a wonderful neighborhood, very close to downtown, full of beautiful, historic homes (and this is one of them!) We love history and love to walk so this was a prime location for us. It is also not a far drive to Hunting Island State Park, Bluffton as well as Savannah and Charleston. There are many restaurants within walking distance. The house itself has been beautifully restored and has all the comforts of home and then some. Our hosts were extremely helpful and welcomed us (including our dog) with famous "southern hospitality". We will definitely be back!
