Heavenly Condo Getaway with view of Lake Tahoe

Cozy South Seid Tahoe LLC condo getaway at the base of Heavenly Ski Resort with gorgeous view of South Lake Tahoe. Private den with a full bed and a main living room also with a pull out couch. Locker for gear storage at main entrance before heading up stairs to the condo. We have zero-gravity chairs our guests can use to sit, recline, and enjoy the view of Lake Tahoe right from the buildings patio. Enjoy the incredible sunsets with piercing bright stars to gaze upon at night and the crystal clear Lake Tahoe water during the day at the many beaches Tahoe has to offer. When winter comes and the snow is here enjoy the convenience of a shuttle that runs right by the driveway to take you to either stagecoach's or boulder's lifts which are a minute away. If you need skis and other equipment, its only a 10 min ride down the mountain to all the stores plus the casinos and restaurants. Also enjoy the community hot tub and pool which is a few minutes walking or a minute by car. I also have sleds for the kids to slide down a great hill minutes away from the condo.

Excellent Condo for skiing at Heavenly

Kevin's condo was a warm and cozy spot for us to stay at for our 2 days of riding at heavenly. The location was ideal and the entire experience was wonderful. Thank you so much Kevin for your flexibility!

Lovely home, great location

We really liked this place. It was exactly what we wanted and even nicer than the pictures indicated. Kevin was great to work with. One very, very small demerit because the hot tub was farther away than we expected (down the street in another complex), and given the overwhelmingly cold/snowy weather we didn’t really get to use it.

We were three friends in Tahoe for hiking. The condo served our needs very well. It was close to South Lake Tahoe, but not in the city. We had no complaints with the condo, except it was advertised as having 3 bedrooms which was not the case. We thought the building itself was badly in need of updating and care. There was some puke in the storage area which we had to walk through to get to the parking lot. Our stay was short, but this was never cleaned up.

Major Disappointment

This property is not at all what it appears to be in the pictures and the description. The building is very worn and rundown. The unit has a couple of updates, but overall is very dated and worn out. However, the biggest issue is that they are using some sort of cleaning products that leave the entire condo with an overpowering smell of toxic and cheap cleaning solution. The towels and the sheets are washed in some sort of extra fragrant product that make them difficult to use. My wife and 11 year old son both had major allergic reactions after using the towels on their faces. My son's reaction was so bad that his face is still red and swollen a week later. When we contacted the host for help on what to do about the smell, his suggestion was that we open the door to the back deck and the front window to create a breeze. The problem was twofold. First, the front window opens to an interior hallway of an old building that had an entirely different bad smell. And the back door opened to a deck where the neighbor above was outside smoking cigarettes. I was forced to send my son to stay with an extended family member on the other side of town for the second night. But, none of us could handle a third night so I had to book a second hotel room and leave the property. When I relayed this to the host, I was ignored. VRBO should be ashamed that there are not better standards. I've asked for a refund, and I'll update this review if I hear back.

Beautiful view of lake

This condo was quite nice and the property had a great view of the lake. Located about 3 miles up Kingsbury grade so it's a short drive to beaches, casino, restaurants. Well kept up and the owner was quick to respond with access code and directions. Everything was as advertised. What more could you want?

Excellent overnight stay

Great choice for a weekend getaway. Very comfortable for 2 couples. Nice quiet location not far from the entertainment downtown. Clean unit with everything you need. Excellent communication with the owner. Highly recommend.

Cozy staycation

The apartment was very clean and well stocked with activities to do inside since it was very Smokey unfortunately. We had planned to go to the beach but due to the conditions outside we spent a short time at the pool and spa and then relax in living room playing some of the games provided. The bedrooms are very cute and spacious, although advertised there wasn’t a Mountain View off the back deck as it faced the parking lot. Over all it was a very nice apartment and we would definitely consider staying again.

Excellent stay

We were extremely happy with our unit and if we ever go back we would request to stay at the same one. The unit was comfy, cozy, and cute. We were happy with all of the amenities and the sleeping arrangements were great! This was definitely a great choice for girls vacation!

Great stay, great location, great communication. The 2nd bedroom opens up to the living room and is a fold out queen. Was probably in the notes and was fine. Just caught us off guard.
