Buddy’s Mountain Hideaway

Enjoy your evening star-gazing in your very own hot tub under the stars!

The vaulted ceiling and large viewing windows give this cabin a "Big Lodge" feel.

Enjoy a cup of morning coffee on 1 of 4 decks, relaxing to the sounds of nature. The lofted pool room is completed with LCD TV, bathroom and private deck! 2 distinct living areas featuring a video arcade station and LCD TV/DVD in one and the other a Stack-Stone Gas Fireplace with LCD TV in the other. The kids will enjoy the living room that is equipped with lots of board games to play, located next to the kids bedroom with two full log beds.

Speaking of beds, all of our bedrooms are equipped with luxurious Nectar mattresses for a comfy night's sleep!

From the birch floor and stainless steel appliances to the cozy and warm custom decorating, no detail has been missed to ensure that your stay at our little slice of paradise will be relaxing and fun.

** Special Note: This cabin has inclined parking which could be difficult for those with mobility issues**

**Please note there is a separate fee of $75 to bring Fido. Dogs must be older than 2 years, well trained, and under 75 pounds. We allow a maximum of 2 pets and all pets must be pre-approved. Each pet must pay the $75 fee.**

Beautiful views

We really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for all 5 of us. We had no issues with communication. The view from the back patios was truly amazing! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Loved the Mountain View’s and the beautiful cabin. The beds were amazing, the furnishings are all well selected. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The host was very accommodating and responsive during booking.

Wonderful Stay!

We had three generations and three households who visited the Smoky Mountains, and Buddy’s Mountain Hideaway was absolutely perfect. We each had our own space but also shared spaces for hanging out. The cabin had something for everybody from pool to back porch swinging to video games. We would definitely recommend this cabin and would love to visit again!

Getaway

The cabin is beautiful, loved the king size beds! Alisa was amazing responding quicklly when we were in a bind needing an extra night due to hurricane Milton heading to our home state. The extra night was perfection. Driveway looks scarier than it is, I’m sure it’s worse with snow and ice. Microwave was broken, messaged Alisa and she was already ordering a replacement. Not a big deal. We’d stay again. The view is incredible from all 3 back deck areas!

BEAUTIFUL house, needs some TLC

The cabin was really pretty and had a GREAT use of space. It has a small kitchen, but worked. The biggest issue was the communication, actually the sever lack of communication with the point of contact for the property. It took two weeks to get a response, I had to reach out for the keys to get in. We never received the info packet via email. Worst communication I’ve experienced with VEBO.

Family baseball trip in the mountains!

Our kids were here playing at the All Ripken Games at Ripken Pigeon Forge. We knew we wanted somewhere not on the main strip but close to the facility. This was the perfect location. A few of the photos were not accurate depiction - there is no gas grill on deck. We did a lot of cooking at the house and some of the kitchen amenities were worn. We had a few wildlife visitors including a bear who decided to take the cover off the septic. The owner was incredibly responsive and sent folks to fix it. The hot tub was less than half full when we arrived but we were able to add water and it warmed up. The views are wonderful and the mattress is very comfortable in the Master bedroom. Overall, great stay!

We had some issues

Host did respond to my message as we never received any type of check out instructions, we did what we’ve done in the past with our cabin rentals. Hot tub was hot but the jets would not work, microwave above the stove would not work, but there was a smaller one on counter we had to use. Large coffee pot would not work and we were having to use a 6 cup coffee pot for 4 adults. K-cup did help with morning coffee. Deck board is broken on main deck which caused us some concern with small children. No cell service at all so I could only send message to host with no response while on our stay.

Communicating needs to be better

They really need to work harder on communicating with their renters. I messaged them Saturday asking about check out for Monday because I knew we were leaving earlier then check out time. They did not message me back till after I left on Monday. In case someone is wanting to stay till check out, check out says 11am on the website, but when they message you the day of check out it’s actually check out time is 10am. The hot tub was not cleaned so unfortunately we were unable to use it and pretty disappoint in that. It was like slimy stuff at the bottom where you sit. The drive way is very steep as mention in the description

Wonderful, quiet place in the Smokey Mountains!

We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the property. We were supposed to stay for 4 nights but our trip was cut short due to a family emergency but the few days we stayed there were great. If you are looking for a place to get away and cut the cords on technology this is the place. The cabin does have Internet and we were told to be patient as it’s not super quick but that was perfect for us. Cell signal is iffy but we connected our phones for WiFi calling and had no issues sending texts but calls will be tough, again something we were told up front and had no issue with. Very steep driving that goes down not up, I simply backed down and had no issues. The cabin was very clean and everything worked perfectly. It’s very close to everything and we would highly recommend this cabin. The Owners accommodated our 3 dogs and were very nice and prompt in answering lots of questions I always have, LOL! We would love to stay here again sometime when we have more time.

Nice cabin but needs a deep cleaning/ poor communication with host

We rented the cabins for 2 nights , when we arrived everything was smooth. After putting couple groceries in the refrigerator it wasn’t cooling. Until we unplugged the refrigerator. We tried messaging our host and call but we didn’t receive a response. Also the blankets had an weird smell, and they have stains on them. Some of my family members had a rash after sleeping in the bed. There was dog hair all over in the cabin, couch, bed, rugs, at this point even in my clothes on my way home. Be aware check out is at 10am even though in the web page says 11am. Also it says it has 2 grills , it was only a small one. Its a nice cabin but it needs to be deep clean.

Lovely view

This house is clean, has everything you need for your stay and the beds are comfortable and extremely high. One of our guests had to run so she could get on the bed. I am 5'8" and could not get on the bed. The house has great water pressure in the kitchen and bathroom sinks, but the water pressure in the shower was low to non-existent. It took five minutes to get your hair wet. The driveway is extremely steep. When you enter the driveway, you cannot see the bottom. I highly recommend having a 4-wheel drive vehicle for the driveway alone. My Lexus RX 350 had a hard time getting up the hill (the back wheels would spin). PLEASE ONLY USE APPLE MAPS to get to this house.

The drive way is super steep so it was a little scary lol the cabin was super clean and cozy and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The hot tub did have a leak but we never had any issues with it at all. Got hot and the jets worked just fine. Lots of room for the 5 of us. There were extra blankets and pillows which was very handy as the nights and mornings were a little chilly. It was such a quiet and peaceful stay. My only one complaint would be the water pressure was really low. But other than that everything was perfect.

Loved the place and beautiful views the driveway made us all alittle nervous as it was steep and didn't look like the pictures. There are a few boards on the deck that need replaced and the rail tightened up it made me very nervous with my kids around it as it was shaky and didn't seem sturdy.

1st of all the view was definitely worth it. We loved sitting on the deck in the mornings, having a cup of coffee and enjoying the view. Overall the cabin was very nice. We had a few items that needed addressed, but we addressed them with the owner. Beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of entertainment for the kids (pool table, video arcade unit, hot tub). A lot of reviews mention the driveway. Yes the driveway is steep, but we backed down everyday (mostly with wet pavement) and never had a problem. 1 of our guest has mobility issues and had no problem getting out of the vehicle and into the cabin. I personally would stay again and would recommend this cabin.

Great property and prime location to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Only 2 negatives were the water pressure in the shower on the main level. Would probably fix itself with a different shower head and the main living area/loft area gets really warm during the day because of the sun coming in through the top window. Otherwise, fantastic place.

Nice Home

It was a nice cabin. It's just there was absolutely no water pressure in the master bathroom shower. You couldn't adjust the temperature of the hot tub. It automatically set to 104. Which was way too hot. There was poison ivy on the decks. You set the thermostat for the cabin, and the lower level was like a walkin freezer, the middle floor was comfortable, and the upper floor was hot. The Pac-man video game wouldn't work most of the time. The beds were way too high. The bathrooms aren't made for big people. This cabin definitely isn't for handicap people or people over 60.

Summer 2025

My family and I loved this cabin. The views are awesome and we liked watching the zip line coming from the mountain across the valley. The cabin was so clean and property management was fast to respond to our questions. The driveway is steep but once you park a couple times is not that bad. The only downfall was the water pressure in the master shower was a bit low but you were still able to shower. Great location and we will stay again if we return.

Good location, charming cabin but smelly water!

Cabin was located in a pretty nice location! Driveway was definitely steep as stated in the listing. No oven mitts in kitchen. 2 coffee pots were provided- only the smaller one worked which was hard to manage with 4 adults who all drink coffee. Hot tub was filthy. I was warned of the leak but the water was green, slimy and smelly. Deck looks like it was getting soft underneath. The biggest issue we faced was the water- it was most definitely well water that smelled so strong of sulfur. It was extremely hard to take a shower or brush teeth without gagging. I wish I would’ve been warned about the water. To some it might not be a deal breaker but when you are used to city water it was a big adjustment! Cabin does need some small improvements but it was super cute and charming! Beds were high but comfy.

Great spot

We loved this place! As long as you aren’t nitpicky about minor things, this place is a great option. It’s an older place for the location so it has its pieces of aged character that I felt made it feel like a real home. If you are looking for perfection find something else. But all the properties in this location are gorgeous and this one was perfectly fine for us. Thanks you to the property managers for the great experience.

Cute cabin, poor communication.

Overall good stay. Appreciated fireplace, bedrooms, and washer/dryer. Cabin was not decorated for Christmas even though we were told it would be. Christmas season is popular for these type of cabins, so it should have been decorated when we arrived. Host communicated more quickly about getting Christmas decor put up on Christmas Eve, which we greatly appreciated. However, communication overall was lacking. Sometimes no answer or maybe even a full day before replying. Also, cabin needs to improve cleaning services. Many windows are dirty, including huge windows in main area. Also, ceiling fan has caked on dust that is visible. For the amount we paid, cabin should be in tip top shape.

Tennessee Geat away

Overall great stay, could use a little more maintenance on some items. I booked this cabin based of a working hot tub. When I should up the water was 24 degrees and the braker had been pulled out. Ounce temp was up we got in to no jets works working or light.
