Welcome to the May Street Retreat! This pet friendly home, located in downtown Southern Pines, is only a short walk to all the shops, restaurants and nightlife; it's also next to many golf courses the Pines features! There is a private driveway, and a covered carport. The backyard is fenced in with chairs and fire pit to enjoy the gorgeous weather. This is a historical cottage fully furnished, with 3 bedrooms, a work space, and a bar to accommodate whatever the vibe is of your retreat!

Great location and perfect for a golf weekend

Great location to DT Southern Pines and house was super clean. It was perfect for our golf trip. Back yard is great spot to unwind after a day on the course!

Perfect place, great location

It’s a home away from home! Had all the small things that most VRBOs forget to have and then more! Easy walk to downtown. We were 12 minutes from our furthest venue all week! Will stay at this place again. Thank you.

Great location for golf venues

We were there for a couple of days for the USGA Women's Open at Pine Needles. The house is 10 minutes by car from that venue. The owners are responsive to concerns and questions. We were able to get an early check-in (2 PM rather than 4 PM) which helped us with our golf plans. We do depend on wifi for our work connections (one of is a minister, with pastoral concerns, etc....so vacation time is never really that). Unfortunately, wifi was down 2 of the 3 days we were there. This was no fault of the owners, who responded to our questions about the situation to let us know there was an outage in the area. But, just a heads up, if you depend on the internet for your work. The home was lovely for the two of us. The neighborhood feels secure. The city was resurfacing the road in front of the house the first 2 days we were there...and that was very noisy. But now that it's completed, future stays should be much quieter. If you need groceries, there's a great Harris Teeter 10 minutes away and a Food Lion 8 minutes in the other direction.
