Town House close to main Street.

One bedroom on the top floor, kitchen and living room on the main floor and another bedroom in the basement. We really like how Southern pines is very walkable. Walk to Betsy crepes for breakfast. Walk to Weymouth Park for hiking. And walk to a couple of breweries.

So-so

The house was decorated beautifully and it was nice that there were some essentials there to use in the kitchen and bathrooms. However, sleeping was difficult as the upstairs mattress was terribly noisy. The downstairs tub would clog and back up during showers, which was pretty gross. And, the fridge and freezer stopped working while we were there, causing us to throw away some of the groceries we had bought for our see stay.

Such a Great Location!

If you are visiting Southern Pines and looking to enjoy all the great things to do in this quaint town then The Pastry House could not be more perfectly located. There was a festival downtown during our stay and parking in town was impossible. However, we walked out our door and up 2 blocks and we were there! However, I must admit there are a lot of stairs inside the home just because of the way it is laid out so if you have no mobility issues and enjoy walking and being near the town center, you have found a wonderful place with great hosts.
