Perfect for family! Clean, close to everything including a 25 minute drive to rockingham speedway. The toddler loved the candy left by the owners and the adults enjoyed the wine. Park a 2 minute walk with a very nice playground for children. Would stay again next time in town.
We loved the convenience of our stay. Very close to restaurants, shopping, golfing. Easy to find and plenty of parking! Also great place for dog walks :)
We had a lovely stay in Southern Pines. The house is super cute and very conveniently located so we were able to do everything we had planned. There were a couple of technical difficulties with the house but our host was super responsive and everything was handled quickly despite our stay occurring over a major holiday. I would definitely book this property again. It was perfect for our family.
Stayed in the home while visiting my son who is stationed at Fort Bragg. The home was lovely. The location could not be beat. Just a few blocks from the town center - with shops and dining galore.
Kelly was responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Will definitely plan to stay there again
We loved the location which is right next to a park and close to restaurants. The house was super cute with plenty of space for 3 adults and a child. We had a wonderful and relaxing time.
We really enjoyed our stay! The house was adorable and so clean. It was also close to so many things, including a park/playground my son played at every chance he could. We hope to make it back for another stay one day.
The place was amazing VERY clean and very cozy and quite and close to everything! We will be renting again. You will NOT regret staying here. And the AC works amazing! Had everything we needed! Lots of towels and bedding and decorations were top notch!
This is a fantastic property right where you want to be - a quiet neighborhood in walking distance to the historic downtown and all of its shops and restaurants. Super clean and spacious - with modern kitchen and bathrooms big enough for a whole family. Will definitely seek this home for visiting family when they come. Our stay was due to home remodeling. Fantastic.
We stayed here 2 nights for a girls birthday weekend. The house was very cute and decorated very well. Access and parking was very easy. Kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed. The only thing I wish there was outdoor furniture on back porch. But would definitely stay here again.
This was a beautiful property that is well appointed and stocked well for short stays. Exactly as pictured in listing. The only thing that was an issue for us was how bright it is at night. I like it to be dark when I sleep and there are many windows with no coverings. Also the sliding barn door to the master bedroom provided no noise barrier and lets in lots of light. I’m a light sleeper so everytime someone would come down the stairs to use the bathroom in the night it would wake me up.
Property is just as advertised and i hope to stay there again when we return to Southern Pines. The king bed was very comfortable and I loved the shower. Upon arrival it was clear the air conditioning was not working. The owner had it repaired IMMEDIATELY even though it was late on a Saturday. I was blown away with the response.
This clean and charming bungalow is in downtown Southern Pines- just a two minute drive to Broad St and certainly walkable as well. The location is uber-quiet with ample parking behind the house- and we felt incredibly safe. The owner/management thought about those welcoming details (snacks, outdoor lights on the porch, ease of check-in, bottles of water, a bottle of wine, "good" toilet paper, powerful hair dryers and a super washer/dryer) that made us immediately feel at home. Two things that didn't hamper our stay, but should be noted: There's currently no bathroom on the second floor where bedrooms 2 & 3 are located...only a sink. Guests sleeping upstairs have to descend/ascend the stairs in the middle of the night to use the second bathroom. This might be an issue for those with mobility issues. Second, there's no door on the master bedroom, though I'm sure it will be installed soon. I think they're just putting the finishing touches on this adorable place. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip to SP/PH!
This updated bungalow is close to downtown. The photos give an accurate portrayal of the house. Some of the issues that made this less than an exceptional stay: The key for the house is in a lockbox that was quite difficult for us to open. I believe the owner plans to update to a lock that only requires the input of a code. The 15 wooden steps to the two upstairs bedrooms are VERY steep. They would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues and we were constantly afraid my granddaughter would have a fall. The downstairs second bath for the two upstairs bedrooms was an issue for us in terms of safety during the night with the steps. We were happy to see some deck furniture and a propane fire pit, which we attempted to use one evening after picking up pizza downtown. The furniture was covered in leaves and bird poop and appeared not to have been cleaned in months. I tried to clean the table tops with spray cleaner and paper towels but found them so filthy we gave up on our idea of pizza on the deck. In addition, the fire pit seemed to have an empty propane tank as it could not be lit. In all fairness the photos or description of the property do not promote a deck with furniture or fire pit, but seeing the condition of these items as you enter the house is kind of a turnoff. I don’t think we’ll stay again due to mobility and safety concerns regarding the steps.
