Wonderful house and beautiful property! We had a great time staying here. Also, we accidentally left our daughter's blanket in the bed, and the owner graciously mailed it to us afterward. Overall a fantastic stay!
Great location for hiking and going out in Asheville
Really enjoyed our stay. The only slightly misleading part is most of the video games do not work and they take quarters. They leave you a few dollars worth of quarters but even with only 1 video game working, it doesn't last long. It wasn't a big deal for us, but I could see how someone with kids would be disappointed.
We loved the house and the area. Quiet, calm, peaceful. My elderly parents had no trouble getting around in the house which was of utmost importance. Amy was prompt and courteous when communicating. We hope to return!
This was a super awesome vrbo for a birthday/girls trip. It was 10 minutes from downtown which is only about a $16-$20 Uber. Comfortable beds and we loved the screened in porch! We did have to give Ubers additional directions to pick us up, but usually we just walked to the end of the driveway so they could easily find us. Overall, was a very enjoyable experience. Our only complaint was that we didn’t see the property dog who we wanted to see so bad! Haha
This is an older home with some cosmetic upgrades. There was plenty of space for our family of 4. Location was great, close to downtown and Blue Ridge Parkway. Check in was smooth and house was easy to find in the dark. The only draw back for us was we could smell smoke in the home. My guess is a previous owner smoked; if you are super sensitive to smoke smell like I am, you may want to reconsider.
The location of this property on top of the privacy was a plus. We were under 10 min. From all the places we visited. This was a home, not just a house to rent. The owner’s have thought of the small and large things that make it special. I particularly enjoyed the abundance of song birds in the morning and evening.
We had a great stay at this rental! It is conveniently located in the heart of Asheville, but nestled up on the mountain in lovely private setting! We really enjoyed the juke box and arcade games!
A very clean older property in a quiet neighborhood. Close to attractions and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Arcade games and juke box are neat, and the screen porch area was our favorite area to enjoy the home.
This house was super clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The kids (and parents!) enjoyed the arcade games and the jukebox. The screened porch was a relaxing place to have morning coffee and listen to the birds. Quick drive to downtown, easy also to get to the Arboretum, Sierra Nevada, Nature Center, and the Biltmore.
The property had no heat, no internet, no lights for 15 hours.
At 5 am there was a snow storm with temperatures in the teens. The property lost power. There was no heat, no internet, no electricity for 15 hours. We had no choice but to leave. We left Saturday after a few hours. We want our money back for the last 2 days. Please.
My son and I stayed her for a few days during his Spring Break. It was a great place to relax after climbing at Rumbling Bald. We loved playing Mario and Golden Tee. House was clean, convenient and we also really enjoyed playing song son the Wurlitzer. We would definitely stay again.
We loved our stay at this property. The house was cozy, clean, and stylishly decorated. The kids loved the arcade games. The location is easy to get to and close by anything you'd want to do in ASheville. We'd love to stay again if we ever visit the area in the future.
We had a great visit! Kids enjoyed the video games in the evening (bring quarters). They leave some there, but with 3 kids we used more. The house is conveniently located, close to everything. We would stay there again for sure.
Everything was just as expected from the listing. Super clean and cute. After a concert Friday night, we were tired Saturday and spent a lot of time at the house playing the arcade games, board games and card games. We even cooked two full meals and had everything we needed. I love the location as it’s a quiet place but just a short drive to downtown. We would definitely book this place in the future and recommend to friends!
Im a native Ashevillian. I am a photographer and own a landscaping business. I love to travel and see new places.

What makes this property unique
I think the location is the best benefit its located close to downtown Asheville, the Parkway, and only 15 minutes for the adorable town of Black Mountain. The on ramp to the interstate is also only 2 minutes away. I also have some awesome vintage video arcade games and a Jukebox! If you love dogs my sweet lab lives here with me and he roams the property. I even have treats in the house for you to give him.
