Ideally located mere footsteps away from the Bayeux high street, this restored former workshop was the ideal place for our family holiday in Normandy. Although perfectly located in the middle of town, the house was quiet and private. Everything that you need is provided (including the all-important espresso maker). Walk to many restaurants, bakeries, shops, the lovely cathedral and the Bayeux tapestry and yet easy access to many D-Day sites. Highly recommended..
The house could not be located any better. It's literally a two minute walk into the town high street. Another minute takes you to the cathedral. But because the house is set back and away (and with a tall privacy wall) it's also very quiet. The house was spotless, and the hot tub made for a relaxing evening after a day of walking. There is no AC, but with plenty of large windows to open it wasn't too bad, even in August. With the 3rd floor it also meant plenty of room for everyone, including our own bathrooms and showers. The BBQ was out of gas but 15 minutes later Yohann showed up with a replacement, so very fast and responsive. Between the tile floors, metal stairs, and very solid doors that required some effort to close, it was a little noisy inside, but really, just a great stay. The ONLY real negative was no washer/dryer so you have to plan your trip around that if required. Would definitely stay here again. Very positive experience.
