We had a lovely time. The house was large and gave us enough space to have our own corners. The pool was lovely, as were the grounds. Paul and Lydie we very kind and welcoming.

Relaxing holiday

We enjoyed our stay in this large, spacious and well-equipped cottage in a quiet rural location within easy reach of the of interesting historical sights, coastal resorts and offshore islands in Charente-Maritime. We were warmly received by Lydie and David and had a very relaxing holiday. Thoroughly recommended.

Relaxing and very comfortable gite

We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay at the property and everything was beautifully clean and well furnished. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed to cook for your family. We were welcomed with a much appreciated basket full of goodies when we arrived which was a lovely touch. The pool was wonderful and very refreshing after a day out sight seeing and our hosts Lydie and David were fantastic. Very friendly and available if you needed to know any local information. Perfect Charente cottage!

We enjoyed a perfect, relaxing holiday at Lydie and David's beautiful house. The photos really do not do this house justice - it is much bigger than you expect - lots of 'extra' spaces with seating, including a mezzanine with desk and futon, so plenty of space for teenagers to spread out . We were only 5, but there would be plenty of room for 8. It is decorated to a high standard - very tasteful and comfortable. The beds are super comfortable, the bathrooms well-fittec out with hot, powerful showers, and the seating area is really sociable. We had lovely weather and were able to make full use of the lovely pool and the massive garden. David and Lydie are great hosts - there if you need them, they have thought of everything to make their guests feel comfortable, but they are also discrete so you have privacy. The house is well-placed for visiting Rochefort, Saintes, La Rochelle, Bourges - amongst other places, but we were also very happy just to relax in the garden. We hope to return soon!

Week end de Pâques en famille.

L'accueil à été très chaleureux. La maison est encore mieux qu'en photos, avec des décorations très agréables et tout était prévu pour un excellent séjour. Adresse à conserver pour le calme, la beauté du site et de la maison, l'accueil et le grand jardin Nous, recommandons sans hésiter.

Sehr schöne und geräumige Unterkunft

Traumhafte Unterkunft mit viel Platz (drinnen und draußen). Alles sehr schön und praktisch eingerichtet. Auch die Küche ist perfekt mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Ruhige Gegend - sehr freundliche Vermieter. Einzige kleine Kritik: der Pool hat Benutzungzeiten (Mo-Sa, 10-19 Uhr). Das ist prinzipiell kein Problem - allerdings sollte das in der Beschreibung mit aufgeführt werden. Zum Zeitpunkt unserer Buchung fehlte der Hinweis und daher kam das für uns etwas überraschend.

Un coin paisible à la campagne

Maison très bien aménagée, avec jardin, terrasse et grande pièce a vivre. Nous étions 7, c'était notre pied a terre pour une compétion de golf. Les propriétaires sont accueillants et très arrangeant. Merci pour les cadeaux de bienvenue.

Erholung und Ruhe pur

Ein perfekter Urlaub mit der Familie zu fünft in dem geschmackvoll und sehr gut ausgestatteten Landhaus. Große Schlafzimmer mit bequemen Betten, Vorzimmer, Wohnzimmer, Esszimmer mit viel Komfort und Platz zum Entspannen. Küche sauber und gut ausgestattet. Ein großer Garten und ein schöner Pool zur Entspannung und Erholung, nach den Ausflügen in die Stadt oder ans Meer: La Rochelle und die Ile d'Oleron sind schnell zu erreichen. Sehr herzlicher Empfang von Lydie und David, mit guten Vorschlägen für die Umgebung. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen das Haus auf jeden Fall weiter.
