About this property
Riverfront Cabin|Fireplace|Fire pit | White Mountains| Hiking
Relax at this beautiful spot located on the Ammonoosuc River. The sound of the river and the views of the mountains are amazing. Enjoy the fire pit with S'mores. Keep an eye out for the bald eagles and local wildlife. This 3 bed 2 1/2 bath (4 bed 3 1/2 if the "Bear Den" is rented see details. Sleeps 8 without the Bear Den) is the perfect space for families and couples and to get away from it all.
The house is located on the river, has a firepit, and is great for families and couples. The upstairs has 3 bedrooms 2 1/2 baths - First floor master has a new California King bed, the second floor has one bedroom with a Queen Bed and another bedroom with two Queen log beds. If the In Law unit "Bear Den" is rented (additional charge) - add an additional new King log bed and a pull out leather queen sofa and full bath making the house a 4 bedrooms 3 1/2 baths. The "Bear Den" is a perfect option for families and couples as it is a true in law unit which is NOT included in the upstair rental. It has a bedroom with a king bed, kitchen, living room, pull out queen leather sofa couch, which sleeps 2, walk out patio, and connects to the upstairs unit. If not rented it is locked off. We NEVER rent out the house to separate groups. The "Bear Den" is a separate unit with its own entrance and has a staircase connecting to the upstair unit. There is Air conditioning in the "Bear Den" but is it rarely needed. The snow mobile trail is across the street and it is a 7-8 min drive to Bretton Woods and a 14 min drive to Cannon.
Located in the White Mountains this neighborhood is quiet and close to all the Bretton Woods, Mt. Washington area has to offer.
The house is directly on the Ammonoosuc River and the snowmobile trail is right across the street. There is plenty of parking enough for snow mobile trailers.
We require a rental agreement to be signed and a security deposit.

We recently stayed at the Bald Eagle house for a golf trip in NH. If you are considering staying here, immediately book it. The house is spectacular and is exactly as advertised. The backyard with the firepit was a great spot to spend the evenings. We also rented the Bear Den apartment which gave our group more space to spread out. The house was clean and check in was smooth. Highly recommend and I look forward to returning.
We had a most wonderful stay at The Bald Eagle River cabin! The cabin was beautiful, clean, and spacious enough for our family adventure. The back porch gave us a perfect vantage point for viewing the wildlife and taking in the sound of the river while sipping our coffee.Mark, our host, was great! He was quick to respond to us and couldn’t do enough to make our stay such a success. We’ve stayed at many VRBO houses and this one was one of the very best. We’re hoping to stay again next year!Definitely a perfect spot!
Mark was an excellent host, very easy to communicate with, provided helpful tips and information on area attractions. The house was very clean, outdoors a little worn in areas. The bedrooms were great, comfortable, well furnished though the 2nd floor listed 3 twin beds and actually had 2 queens. The river was beautiful, we got to see a Bald Eagle on more than one occasion, a family of deer, though the river access was a little more precarious than hoped. Would definitely return for another vacation, recommend to others.
The spot can’t be beat! Riverside is beautiful, saw deer and an eagle every day, falling asleep to the sound of running water, golden hour making s’mores in the fire pit, playing games in the spacious living room (and so clean that when a game piece rolled under the couch we were pleasantly surprised how clean it was even under the couch), a first floor bedroom for elderly parents, cozy cabin decor and comfortable mattresses, EV car charger at the house took away any stress of feeling remote, close to local attractions and restaurants all within 15 minutes or less. Host was responsive and friendly. Only thing to note is currently the 3rd bedroom is 2 queens and not 3 twins. We had a great time at the house and within an hour of checking in my kids were convincing us we need to stay here twice a year :)
We had a great stay at the riverfront cabin. What a beautiful location and central to everything we wanted to do while there. Well stocked house, clean, and spacious. The outdoor spaces were great as well, we used them all. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Had an amazing time staying at the river front cabin! The mountain view is incredible. The cabin is immaculate and the backyard was great. Had a nice fire in the pit overlooking the river. Would 100% stay here again.
This house exceeded all of our expectations! Pictures don't do it justice! It was spacious with plenty of space to move around and kitchen was well equipped. The check-in process was smooth and the instructions left on the coffee table were easy to follow. Will definitely stay here again!
This home was absolutely stunning. There is a ton of space inside and out for our family to enjoy our stay here. It's certainly decorated to make you feel right at home. Even before leaving, we had all agreed that we will visit again.
There were 3 couples who stayed at this property. This was kne of 3 that we stayed in on our trip to the Northeast. This was by far all of our favorite. Mark was very easy to work with and the property was exactly as described. We will definitely rent this place again.
Enjoyed the beautiful home and location right on the river!
