The Casa das Laranjeiras, completely renovated in 2013, is quietly yet centrally located in the upper area of the beautiful fishing village of Ferragudo. Right on one of the most picturesque streets in Ferragudos. The fishing village is known for its narrow streets, winding stairs and for its originality. In the village there are a number of recommended Portuguese and international restaurants and several small village shops where you can buy everything for everyday life. The lively market square with its many cafes invites you to linger. Everything can be easily reached within 5 minutes on foot. Larger supermarkets and shops for strolling can be reached in Portimao and Lagoa within a 5-10 minute drive. The nearest beach, Praia Grande, which is very suitable for small children, is only a 7-minute walk away. There are also many beautiful beaches in the Felsalgarve that can be reached on foot or after a short drive. Ferragudo is also a good starting point for hikes in the nearby Monchique Mountains, the summit of which extends to 900m.
The house impresses with its 90m² private enclosed patio with outdoor shower and old trees consisting of oranges, mandarins, figs and an almond tree. Real wood garden furniture and a brick grill invite you to cozy evenings outdoors.
On the large sun roof terrace with a roof lounge and loungers, sunbathing is also possible in winter because the sun shines from sunrise to sunset. The south-facing house is flooded with sunshine and comfortably furnished. It consists of 2 bedrooms, living / dining room with additional sofa bed, a spacious bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. The neighboring house Casinha fewo No. 2743394 with an additional bedroom and a beautiful roof terrace can be booked.

The weather decided against the use of the pool but we did enjoy both the garden and the roof lounge. The house is small but well appointed and has everything one could want in a holiday home. Parking nearby was straight-forward but might be more difficult in mid-summer.

The house was in ideal condition, with all the amenities you would need and within walking distance of the beaches, fishing pier, bars, cafes and restaurants. As well the supermarkets, in nearby Parchal are a 20 minute walk away or a 5 minute cycle ride or drive. So lovely and peaceful. Would highly recommend this Village house.

Excellent holiday cottage within 5 minutes of the village centre and beach.

A well equipped traditional Portugese house with the added bonus of a pool and lively outside space. Closeness to the centre if the village was a real bonus and the house overall more than lived up to the reviews. We valued the excellent communication with the owner Anja and Jaime who looked after the pool was great. Would not hesitate to return to this property.

Loved this adorable, charming apartment!

My daughter and I loved this place—we were delighted by the charming decor, including a cosy breakfast nook, small sectional couch, and authentic Portuguese blue-and-white tiles. This charming two-bedroom apartment (one with a double bed, the other with a bunk bed) had everything we could need and beyond—a Nescafé coffee maker, electric juice maker, electric tea kettle, full range of kitchen equipment and supplies, teas and spices, and a shelf-full of an assortment of delicious Portuguese liqueurs! Communication with our German hosts was excellent and when the electricity went out a neighbor immediately came over to help us turn it back on. The outdoor space is amazing and would have been absolutely delightful if the weather had cooperated. What we hadn’t anticipated (through absolutely no fault of our hosts, of course!) was the cold, windy, often rainy weather, plus an unusually extreme storm, we experienced the last week of March, and the fact that the pool would be too cold to swim in. (I was further disheartened to have to pay an unexpected extra 5 euro per day for heat.)If we were to return to the Algarve in the future, I was advised that September might be a better time (not high season, but still warm enough to swim). Despite the weather, we absolutely adored our charming, comfy little home away from home, found Ferragudo to be quite pretty and quiet, and enjoyed a wonderful week’s stay there together!

Wir hatten zwei wunderbare Wochen im Casa das Laranjeiras, das seinem Namen mit dem Orangen- und dem Mandarinenbaum im Hof alle Ehre macht. Der große private Innenhof und die Dachterrasse sind wirklich etwas ganz besonderes. Wir haben es sehr genossen, jeden Morgen draußen zu frühstücken. Dank der wasserdichten und schattenspendenden Überdachung kann man den Esstisch auf der Terrasse bei jedem Wetter nutzen. Der Pool hat vor allem den Kindern sehr viel Spaß bereitet.Die Lage ist wirklich super: Das Haus befindet sich am Ende einer wunderschönen alten Gasse. Man kann zu Fuß zum schönen Praia Grande laufen, obwohl wir eher mit dem Mietauto andere Strände in der Umgebung besucht haben.Anja und Rui waren immer sehr gut erreichbar, wenn es mal Fragen gab. Die Ferienwohnung ist top ausgestattet - sogar ein Windschutz für den Strand, Strandtücher und aufblasbares Pool-Spielzeug sind vorhanden. Toll fanden wir auch den Grill. Alles ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können uns gut vorstellen, irgendwann wieder zu kommen.

Ambiente: Bei diesem Objekt handelt es sich wirklich um ein kleines Paradies. Liebevoll und gut durchdacht eingerichtet.Schlafzimmer: Das Bett im Hauptschlafzimmer war wirklich bequem. Der Raum ist ein wenig klein, so dass man gegebenenfalls aufpassen sollte, dass man sich nicht am Bett stößt. Wenn man zu zweit reist, kann man das Kinderzimmer als Ankleideraum nutzen.Küche: toll ausgestattet. Alles vorhanden und in top Zustand. Es gibt genügend Messer und Schneidebretter usw, so dass man auch hier selbst gut kochen kann.Pool: schöner Pool, der sehr sauber war. Außendusche vorhanden. Somit muss man gar nicht immer an den Strand.Innenhof: Hier kann man sich wirklich wohlfühlen und erholen. Es gibt gemütliche Liegen und einen großen Sonnenschirm. Ebenfalls befindet sich ein großer Tisch im Außenbereich, so dass man hier toll frühstücken bzw. essen kann.Dachterrasse: wer Sonne total möchte, findet hier den richtigen Platz.Lage: sehr zentral gelegen. Direkt an der wohl schönsten Straße Ferragudos. Alles ist sehr schnell zu Fuß erreichbar und trotzdem war es sehr ruhig.Hinweise: Die Eingangstür des Hauses geht direkt in die Küche. Hier gibt es gleich zwei tiefe Stufen. Zwar befindet sich hier ein Handlauf, aber für kleine Kinder oder Menschen mit Knieproblemen könnte es schwierig werden. Nur als Info!Fazit: Wir haben uns hier wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt und wollten gar nicht mehr weg. Sehr gut durchdachtes Ferienhaus. Wir wollen auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Wir hatten 10 schöne Tage im Mai in diesem Haus. Alles was man für einen Urlaub benötigt ist wie in der Ausstattung angegeben vorhanden. Die Räume sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet und reichen für bis zu vier Personen. Die Dachlounge und der Pool sind ein zusätzliches Highlight. Von dem Haus aus ist es nicht weit zu mehreren Restaurants und zum Strand. Beides kann man fußläufig erreichen. Wir haben die Zeit genossen und können das Haus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Alles rundherum perfekt

Es war einfach nur klasse! Anja war eine super Gastgeberin und immer für uns mit Tipps und Ratschlägen erreichbar. Das Anwesen ist traumhaft schön, sauber und mit vielen kleinen, liebevollen Details versehen, vor allem der Pool, die Dachterrasse und die schöne Grillecke haben uns begeistert! Die Lage des Hauses ist ebenso perfekt, da es nur wenige Minuten bis zum Strand, direkt im kleinen historischen Zentrum des Dorfs gelegen ist. Wir waren rund um glücklich und werden bestimmt mal wiederkommen.

Tolles Zuhause für einen schönen Algarveurlaub

Alles da, was man braucht. Wir haben den Grill gerne genutzt, das Frühstück im Innenhof genossen und auf dem Dach Siesta gehalten. Der Pool war neu und noch nicht abgenommen, aber der "Hausstrand" war bei 28/30 Grad im April auch schon ideal für Badepausen zu nutzen. Der Strand ist toll mit kleinen Kindern. Mit Kindern, die schon krabbeln und noch nicht auf nein hören können, dürfte diese Ferienwohnung allerdings der Stufen im Außenbereich wegen etwas anstrengend sein. Für uns war es perfekt. Wir haben auch die Duschecke fürs Familiensäubern nach dem Strand gerne genutzt. Wir empfehlen die Wohnung sehr.

Wundervolle Unterkunft

Wir hatten einen ganz wunderbaren Aufenthalt in Ferragudo. Das Haus hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen, die Orangen im Garten waren ein kleines Highlight! Das tägliche Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse hat jeden Morgen besonders gemacht. Im Haus hat es uns ans nichts gefehlt, Verbrauchsgüter wie Gewürze und Öl waren vorhanden, das war sehr praktisch. Der Strand ist nach 10minütigen Fussweg einfach zu erreichen. Das kulinarische Angebot im nahen Umfeld haben wir weniger genutzt, jedoch gibt es einige Angebote. Mit Portimao vor der Tür kann man sämtliche Wasseraktivitäten schnell und einfach organisieren-super! Alles absolut empfehlenswert!
