Perfect location, so peaceful and private but only five minutes drive to the supermarket! Beautiful, well equipped villa and an amazing pool and seating area.Cannot speak highly enough of this villa!

Even better than the description!

This is a quirky house with lots of personality. Beautifully decorated, cozy and comfortable. The bright sunny kitchen is well out-fitted with all the conveniences of home. Direct access to the patio dining area was a bonus! Livingroom, dining room, kitchen and bathroom are all quite large. The bedroom is small but more than adequate. Outdoors, the gardens, pool, sitting areas (many), and the surrounding property are sublime. It is the perfect place to relax. We really enjoyed picking fruit right from the tree. Fresh oranges for breakfast are a real treat! The property is situated in a perfect location. Easy walking distance to Monchique (1km) Several nice walking trails right from the property. Fabulous views with not a neighbor in sight. Several good restaurants located within a 5-10min walk. We'd like to thank, both the property manager and the owner for making our stay PERFECT! I really hope that we can come back for another visit sometime soon!

Cosy and authentic house on a beautiful and private location. The pool is great and well maintained. Very welcoming hosts and friendly communication during the stay. Highly recommended if you like to explore the Algarve from west to east.

Haus und Garten mit viel Charme in phantastischer LageWir haben uns in diesem liebevoll ausgestatteten Haus mitten in der Natur pudelwohl gefühlt. Dazu trug auch der eigene abgezäunte Garten in einem riesigen Gelände mit Olivenbäumen und Korkeichen inklusive Pool zur Alleinnutzung bei. Lage und Garten sind perfekt für einen Urlaub mit Hund. Die Unterkunft ist geräumiger, als man aufgrund der Fotos vermuten würde. Es gibt eine große, gut ausgestattete Küche, einen gemütlichen Wohn-Ess-Bereich mit Kamin sowie zwei Schlafräume, wobei eines der Zimmer ein Durchgangszimmer ist. Mobiliar und Technik sind zwar nicht auf dem allerneuesten Stand, aber alles ist sehr sauber, authentisch und funktioniert. Wir haben nicht nur die angenehme Atmosphäre genossen, sondern auch die perfekte Betreuung durch Eulalia vor Ort. Sie war immer erreichbar, kümmerte sich sofort um kleinere technische Mängel und gab uns viele interessante Ausflugs- und Restaurant-Tipps. Auch die Kommunikation mit Pascal, dem Eigentümer, war sehr angenehm. Schön, dass wir uns sogar persönlich kennengelernt haben. Vielen Dank für alles, wir kommen sehr, sehr gerne wieder!

The place was fantastic and quaint! A nice drive up the mountain from monchique, the property manager was fantastic. She took her time to walk us through the property and show us around. It was the exact quiet get away we needed, with beautiful restaurants within 3-10 minutes away. The driveway in is definitely narrow, we had a 9 seater van, so we opted to park atop the driveway as the house is at the bottom of a hairpin turn after a steep hill.Other things to note is the house is built into the side of a mountain and is definitely old. Take care when cleaning after cooking. At no fault of the hosts, considering the style of dwelling there were some ants. But it really wasn’t a bother. Simply comes down to personal cleanliness! Netflix or prime did not work on the tv as it is a bit out dated, there were some English channels that had movies on but again it won’t reflect my review as the reality is our time was mostly spent exploring the region. I would book this accommodation again

Spent a week at Villa Pascal and had a lovely relaxing time. The villa was clean and well appointed. The TV channels were mainly in French and German so take a laptop with VPN to connect if you want to watch more English channels other than Sky or Bloomberg news. Set above Monchique in the hills, the villa offers peace and quiet with just the sound of the trees rustling in the wind most of the time. Hardly heard the neighbouring property at all. Only one restaurant within walking distance but plenty more within 5-10mins drive. All in all, I'd definately recommend this villa if you want privacy and quiet. Not suitable for folk with mobility issues though.

Charaktervolles Häuschen mit allem, was man braucht. Traumhafter Garten und großer Pool. Die Verwalterin Eulália war großartig, sowohl bei der Ankunft als auch bei der schnellen Lösung eines technischen Defekts. Für eine perfekte Bewertung würden wir uns eine bessere Instandhaltung wünschen (Duscharmatur, Stockige Silikonfugen, Kalkablagerungen, defekte Sonnenschirme, klebriger Lack auf Tisch, quitschendes Bett, wackeliger Grilltisch, wackelige Toilette, defekter Spülknopf, durchgesessene Sessel etc). Alles nicht schlimm! Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in der schönen Unterkunft.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this villa in Monchique, Portugal. The location is truly stunning – perched on top of the mountain with breathtaking views in every direction. It felt so peaceful, yet it was only around 40 minutes to reach anywhere we wanted to go.The villa itself was beautiful, spotless, and very well maintained. The grounds were just as impressive – perfectly kept, and a pleasure to wander around. Eulalia, the villa manager, was incredibly welcoming and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable.The highlight for us was definitely the pool. It was large, crystal clear, and wonderfully maintained – we didn’t even need it heated in August. Relaxing by the pool while soaking in those views was unforgettable.The kitchen was also extremely well-equipped, making cooking at the villa a breeze. Overall, this villa exceeded our expectations in every way – we can’t recommend it highly enough and would love to return!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Monchique. Das Haus liegt sehr schön, die Natur ist eindrucksvoll und der Pool herausragend. In den heißen Nächten war es ausreichend kühl, um gut zu schlafen. Die Kommunikation und das Einchecken liefen problemlos.Hier und da merkt man dem Gebäude und der Ausstattung das Alter an, kleinere Reparaturen und der Austauch von altem Gerät wären hier wünschenswert. Es war aber nichts, was unseren Urlaub nachhaltig beeinträchtigt hat. Wir haben die Zeit genossen und uns wunderbar erholt.

Un accueil très chaleureux de la part D ‘EULALIA nous a fait découvrir la maison son jardin et lla magnifique piscine..les paysages sont superbes ,la ville de Monchique et très joli et les gens très accueillant.Sans parler de la gastronomie où on s’est régalé, c’est un endroit très reposant au calme et très vivifiant..très triste de repartir, on serait bien resté un peu plus longtemps tellement c’est agréable.

A piscina é maravilhosa e tem uma vista deslumbrante. Excelente espaço para quem procura sossego e privacidade ( não tive essa sorte pois durante dois dias estiveram a tirar a cortiça dos sobreiros e um final de tarde a fazerem a manutenção da piscina), considero a falta de uma mala de primeiros socorros devia ser obrigatório, necessitei para tratar um corte e não tinha . Deixo a sugestão de terem atenção ao pó por detrás da cama e a decoração do tapete por cima também ser visto pois se não for limpo é um foco de acaros...

Geweldige plek

Heel goed, lekker rustig, mooi zwembad, echt in de natuur. Leila heeft binnen 10 minuten opgepikt op de afgesproken plaats. Ronsleiding door het huis met waar nodig was uitleg. We hebben haar 2 keer nodig gehad en stond binnen 5 minuten paraat en heeft de problemen opgelost. Chapeau. Niets anders dan geweldig.

A beautiful cottage in lovely gardens

A lovely authentic cottage in pretty gardens. A gem to find a rural property within walking distance of good restaurants. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Useful to know... If you arrive after 9pm, all the supermarkets/shops are closed, so get the basics you need or want for the night and first thing in the morning, such as water/coffee/milk before you leave the airport. The pool is a great size with lovely views. The Monchique area is delightful. A lovely holiday.

Un petit paradis à Monchique

Merci à Marie et Pascal pour leur super accueil. Un vrai coin de paradis en pleine nature avec un vue magnifique. Vous êtes à la fois isolés et tout proche du centre de Monchique. Le centre est très mignon avec pleins de bonnes adresses. Monchique est idéalement situé pour rayonner dans les environs. Encore merci !!!!

Kleines Paradies in den Bergen

SchönesHäuschen inmitten eines riesigem Terrassengrundstücks mit alten Olivenbäumen und Korkeichen. Tolle Aussicht, schöner beheizter Pool, Granatäpfel frisch vom Baum… Ausstattung war auch super, alles da bis auf scharfe Messer… tolle Lage, direkt am Ortsrand aber trotzdem in der Natur, sogar Meerblick vom Garten aus. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und sind etwas traurig dass die Zeit dort vorbei ist.
