303 Massachusetts - Adorable one bedroom cottage close to the beach!

Get ready for a wonderful getaway in this one bedroom cottage close to Lewes Beach. If you have been looking for a small place to stay that is close to the beach and with easy access to downtown Lewes, you have found the place. A self-contained cottage with a Double bed in the bedroom is perfect for a long weekend in the off-season or a week in the summer months. This property is adjacent to 311 E Market Street and can be rented together.

All guests must supply their own sheets, towels and beach towels or OPT in for our linen rental package.

Dog Friendly 35 pounds or less with non-refundable fee and signed addendum

Guests must choose to purchase a $70 Vacation Rental Damage Insurance policy covering $3,000.00 in accidental damage, or pay a refundable security deposit of $2,000.00. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable. This amount will not be reflected in the quote amount on VRBO.

The property must be occupied for the entire rental period by the Guest signing the Lodging Agreement (Responsible Guest), and all occupants of the Property shall be supervised by the Responsible Guest. The Responsible Guest must be at least 25 years of age. If the party is made up of unrelated individuals (a group rental where the Responsible Guest is NOT the legal guardian/parent of any other guests), ALL guests occupying the property must be at least 25 years of age.

We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Credit Cards and eChecks for your initial deposit. We also accept personal checks for final payments. Final payments are due 30 days prior to your check-in date. NOTE: Any payments within 30 days of arrival require to be in certified funds or by credit card. You will be provided a link to a Guest Portal where you can securely make your payments online.

VRBO BOOKINGS: This property is hosted by the management company noted as Owner on VRBO. After booking the property you will be charged a booking fee by VRBO. ALL other fees and the rental amount will be charged by the management company and paid to the management company. Once you have booked you will be contacted by the management company and sent a Lodging Agreement that must be signed. Apart from Damage Protection, all fees associated with the booking are displayed in the VRBO booking.

The most wonderful location- close to the beach and a short walk to charming Lewes. We loved the quirky decor and the spacious outdoor area. This rental was pet friendly, which was a real bonus for our little pup. The space is only large enough for two people.

Quiet spot, appliances, plumbing great, AC quiet and effective! need screen door on back of house to keep flies from coming in when exit to deck or close line. But all in all a great place!

Great place, great location. But for the total after fees, I can't believe there's not a hair dryer? There's not really space to cook anything, and they had I think 12 puzzles but absolutely no surface big enough to do any of the puzzles.

The House was disappointing. Poor lighting in living room. Only a side lamp that projected little lighting. The mattress was very soft and I going inconfortable. Almost impossible to prepare any meal. No counter space!!!!!!The location was the only saving grace. Would not stay here again!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For the price, location is good. Two short blocks to beach. Close to bridge to town. Private, fenced in outdoor area was great and as much space as indoors or more. Trex deck, outdoor shower, table and chairs with umbrella. However, inside was cluttered, not clean, and had many ants and flies. Every horizontal surface had some kind of knick-knack so there was no place to put anything. Bedspread was dirty, and went into the washer immediately. The sinks were wiped, but kitchen counter was perpetually sticky, no matter how much we scrubbed, and the floor was filthy. Spent the first night killing hundreds of ants. The mgmt co was responsive to the complaint and dropped off some traps, but said ants were due to heavy rains and that the exterminator had been out the week before. With many traps and spray, the ants never went away all week so we ended up leaving early.

Why I won’t consider renting this property again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Minor issues: No toaster provided. No hair dryer provided. No wine glasses. Major issue. As you face the property from the street you will see a large tree whose branches are in contact with the roof of the property. The branches are directly over the bedroom. During a rain storm with high winds the branches continually dragged across the metal roof preventing me and my wife from getting any sleep. As the weather forecast showed continued wind for the next night as well we were forced to cut our stay and return home a day early.
