Welcome to Summer Jam! Our Surfman’s Walk home has been updated & is ready for you to enjoy. Nestled in the forest yet 1.5 minutes by golf cart to East Beach, our home is perfectly suited for a couple, two couples or a small family. The vibe of our home is very relaxed (think beach boho) and we encourage our guests to just kick back, relax & have fun! To help you do that the house is outfitted with Sonos sound system, an old school record player, an acoustic guitar, ukulele, new games & bar tools. There are TVs in each bedroom & the living room. But the most popular areas of the home are the front and back porches (both screened) where you can hear the waves and see the stars. Upstairs features two bedrooms and laundry area. Both bedrooms are en suite (one king & one queen) giving everyone their private space. There is a pack and play, baby gate, blow up twin bed, and blow up toddler bed. All linens are provided. Our home is well stocked for those who like to cook & includes a new Napoleon gas grill. Besides new pots & pans there is also a crock pot, a keurig coffee maker, a standard coffee maker, blender and more. Headed to the beach? There are multiple sunshades, beach towels, umbrellas & chairs for your use as well as 2 four person golf carts to take you there. Or if you prefer to bike, there are 5 bikes available.

Well behaved dogs & kitties are welcome with approval, additional cleaning fee & a non-refundable pet deposit. Sorry, No puppies.

Hit All the High Notes

This adorable and well-appointed home was amazing. Well positioned near Shoals Club, this home made getting to the beach a cinch. Front and back porches - both enclosed - were the ideal spot for morning coffee and evening cocktails. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked as was the living room with games, giant cards, and a record player we thoroughly enjoyed! How fun! This spot was ideal for a couple and our dogs, gave us plenty of space and a quiet neighborhood to walk our pups. An amazing home, thoughtfully designed. Can’t wait to return.

Great little house!

The house is so cute and homey. It does not feel like a rental at all. It feels more like a well cared for home. Very clean. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. I even baked a cake one night, and there was a cake pan with a cover for me to use. The beds were very comfortable, especially the queen. We had to use the blow up mattress for one of our kids, and it was comfortable too. The AC worked wonderfully. We have stayed in another home with the same floor plan, and the AC struggled to cool down the upstairs. Not here. We loved the porch. Everything was labeled and easy to use or find. The location is fantastic-close to the beach and Shoals Club and Mikes Bites. The owner was very responsive. It was a great stay!

Peaceful Sanctuary

Great property, very dog and human friendly! Very clean, well equipped, super comfortable! We can’t say enough!!!! We loved the screen porches on both sides of the house. It was amazing to watch the deers walk right by on the wooden paths. The short walk to the beach was an added bonus! Home owner was great, very responsive to any questions we had. Thank you!!!!!

Great rental at Bald Head Island

Summer Jam is perfect! The house is well supplied, furnished and spotless. The setting in the forest and within easy walking distance to the beach is wonderful. We were 4 adults and a dog and all had a wonderful week. We biked (3 cruiser bikes supplied), walked and carted (2 electric golf carts supplied) over the island. Don’t miss climbing Old Baldy, the Maritime Market for groceries and breakfast/lunch sandwiches, Jailhouse Provisions for lunch/dinner and especially Mike’s Bites for yummy sandwiches and Italian ices! We loved BHI and Summer Jam was perfect for 4 people and a dog.
