Beautiful Waterfront Cottage

The Star Cottage is located on the waterfront in the Bald Head Island Marina with water views as well as sunset views. You are within walking distance to Jule’s and Dephina's Restaurants. The cottage comes with local digital TV as well as wireless internet and Netflix. A four passenger golf cart is included. We can provide a temporary membership to the BHI Club for an additional charge if you are interested. Being located in the harbor, you are on the water and across the street is the dock to the Bald Head Island Creek, where you can kayak and paddleboard. Sailing is available in the marina. Look forward to meeting you!

27th Annual Thanksgiving!

We used this charming 1 Bedroom / bath small kitchenette for our brother. The cottage was perfect. Clean and spacious for 1-2 people. The bathroom was clean and the kitchenette small and clean. David who met us to check us in was beyond delightful and accomodating. This cottage comes with 1-4seater golf cart. The location at the Marina and walking distance to several shops and Jules the restaurant was perfect. Cheers!

Cute little cottage right at the marina

We totally enjoyed our stay in the Starr cottage on Marina baldhead Island. It was wonderful to have the golf cart to use around the island. We were there for a boat club function and all the activities took place right in the marina. Would definitely rent there again, just hoping that the weather will cooperate next time

Amazing!

What a great experience! First, the property was at a great location! Super convenient, beautiful view, easy check in! Then David was absolutely the best! Hated to even have to bug him for a slight issue that came up unexpectedly and out of his control, but he jumped in to fix it and went above and beyond! This was perfect for a long weekend anniversary getaway! We will definitely be back!

Heaven at the Harbor

Star Cottage is an utterly exquisite piece of property located in your sight line as the ferry pulls into the harbor at bald head island. Neat, clean, well-decorated, efficiently arranged. The accompanying golf cart is first rate. David is straightforward and accessible. This is everything you could hope for in a weekend getaway.

Great place to stay

Location is great for a short couples stay. The only issue we had was the golf cart. For some reason the battery was not lasting long. David was attentive with the cart. He even made sure we had another cart for our late night turtle walk. Since we had to run lights and go all the way to east beach he wanted to make sure we would be ok. issue.

Beautiful, central location

The check in process was smooth and very simple! We took a tram from the ferry down to the cottage which only took less than 5 min! :) When we first checked in, the place was spotless and felt like we were checking in at a hotel. Wifi was smooth and TV worked perfectly. More than enough clean towels were provided. Extra table in the closet to do work/eat on. Plenty of kitchen essentials and good working kitchen appliances. The view of the marina was to DIE for and we got to see the prettiest sunsets everyday we were there. The cottage is only a five minute walk to Jules, Wisp, Sandpiper, and Boathouse BHI! The golf cart that David provided work perfectly and was easy to use and very convenient to get around with. David was also a great, hospitable, and very welcoming host! For example, we ran into some problems like our own personal beach umbrella breaking and David’s response time was fast and he personally came down himself to help us fix it. Overall, our stay was phenomenal and likely will book with David again :)

Charming Cottage

The cottage was the most charming and clean place that I’ve ever stayed at. It’s on the water and in the best location. We had the most amazing weekend here and will definitely come back next summer. Host was excellent and communicated well with us. Everything was excellent!
