About this property

Beautiful Waterfront Cottage

The Star Cottage is located on the waterfront in the Bald Head Island Marina with water views as well as sunset views. You are within walking distance to Jule’s and Dephina's Restaurants. The cottage comes with local digital TV as well as wireless internet and Netflix. A four passenger golf cart is included. We can provide a temporary membership to the BHI Club for an additional charge if you are interested. Being located in the harbor, you are on the water and across the street is the dock to the Bald Head Island Creek, where you can kayak and paddleboard. Sailing is available in the marina. Look forward to meeting you!

The host is friendly and very responsive. We easily located the cottage and had no trouble checking in. The cozy space had everything we need and abutted the marina. The golf cart was perfect for touring the island and the location of this quant home was exactly what we were looking for. There are restaurants, shops and kayaks to rent all in walking distance. Thank you David, for a great stay!

The Star Cottage was perfect for our first time to Baldhead Island. It was exactly what had been promised. Perfect location. Having the Golfcart really gave us a chance to discover the beauty of the island. Buying a pass at the BHI club was the perfect balance. Loved it! David is the ultimate host. Lovely cottage

I was visiting BHI for the first time & by myself. Unfortunately the day I traveled in, it was rainy & cool, so it made the ferry ride challenging by myself.I was thrilled with the little cottage as it was the perfect size for a solo trip. Loved the location at the marina as it felt more like a neighborhood. The east beach was only a 15 minute golf cart ride & I got to see more of the island. Restaurants that I visited were only mediocre, but that's OK as the atmosphere was fun!

Wonderful!!!

My husband and I stayed here the weekend of our wedding for a "mini-moon." It was absolutely perfect for us and SO beautiful. Great location, clean, and the owner was so easy to get in touch with for any small questions we had. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Great location, easy stay

This property has a great location on the water and has everything you need for 2 people. There is a grill not far from the property to use for cooking out too. The owner was quick to respond and easy to communicate with. We would recommend this property.

Cute little cottage right at the marina

We totally enjoyed our stay in the Starr cottage on Marina baldhead Island. It was wonderful to have the golf cart to use around the island. We were there for a boat club function and all the activities took place right in the marina. Would definitely rent there again, just hoping that the weather will cooperate next time

Perfect weekend getaway for 2!

Bright and clean studio with beautiful views of marina! Lots of activities just steps away (kayaking, biking) or just relax on the porch watching boats and wildlife. Highly recommend!
