Nice for small family

Place was great for our small family. Close to sharc and mall. Cruiser bikes available in the garage was an appreciated plus. Next to the train tracks but hardly noticeable.

Very nice

The house was clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. It was walking distance to the SHARC and you could walk to the village if you felt so inclined (it was about a mile away). I would definitely stay there again.

Pros: very responsive host; well & tastefully furnished; good hot tub; good a/c; convenient to have bikes, though they needed some work - chains, tires; quiet Con: bbq grill needs to be replaced - really dirty, beyond cleaning.

Relaxing trip!

We came to sunriver for my husbands bday and loved our stay here. This house is close to everything that you would want access to (especially with kids!) hosts were amazing and incredibly helpful when we had questions. The house was clean and we had enough blankets to keep us cozy. I loved the cozy fireplace and location the most!

Just about everything we were expecting based on house description and other reviews. The living spaces were a little dark, so we found ourselves frequently adjusting our space for our games and puzzles. Very basically appointed home which was adequate for our stay, but no extras or personal touches (for example, I think this was the first time I’ve stayed in a VRBO with a private owner that did not provide a couple k-cups or supply tissue boxes—little things, I know, but those are the welcoming touches that make great impressions).

This house was clean and had everything we needed. We didn't have time to use the hot tub or SHARC passes but everything was right there with instructions should we have needed them.

Nice place!

We were in town for a wedding, so we didn’t use the hot tub or cook. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the living room furniture was great for lounging. My family enjoyed this house. The train was a bonus!

Thanksgiving stay

We really enjoyed the house and found it to be very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed using the hot tub. There were no working exterior lights, aside from one porch light. There was an abundance of dead moths in the downstairs bathroom(shower) and living room.

Fun family vacay

We had an excellent time at this property. It was a fabulous location with just a short bike ride to the SHARC and just a bit further to the village. Great outdoor patio. The owners were very quick to communicate. It was unfortunate that the Jets on the hot tub weren’t working. We didn’t realize the train ran behind the house but the noise wasn’t overly noticeable.

Wonderful and walkable

All of Sunriver is a good location as far as scenery and privacy. This home is also situated within walking distance from the SHARC and the village. If you walk the other direction, there is a nice playground and basketball court. We did a lot of walking and biking, so the bikes and the garage were nice to have. We had a fabulous Christmas here, and the owners were immediately responsive with a small issue that came up with the hot tub.

Beautiful home with a nice layout, lots of windows and light.

We enjoyed our stay here so much. The living room, dining room and kitchen area had big windows and sliding glass doors so we felt as if we were immersed in nature with all of the trees in the area. The two bedrooms were nicely decorated and restful. The bicycles were convenient to use and we were able to do a bit of bicycling in the area -- a very common activity in Sunriver! The kitchen was equipped with all of the necessary dishes, pots and pans and utensils to make ourselves feel at home. We would definitely like to stay here again sometime!

Lovely house

This was a perfect house for the 4 of us. It was very clean, comfortable, and the bikes and sharc passes were great. Michelle was very easy to communicate with. You are on the outskirts near the train tracks, but I didn't even hear the train. The only thing I would suggest is the deck needs to be redone.

Great location and large deck

We loved the large deck with lots of spots to sit with varying sunny or shade options. Great location near the SHARC and village. Lots of dishes and cooking pots and pans. The train did not bother us and we had fun making videos for my young grandson when they passed by. There were a couple negatives like not a lot of basics for cooking like salt, some things being a little outdated and lots of spiders, so maybe more spraying would be helpful. Overall we were very happy. Thank you!

SunRiver vacation 2022

The house was lovely. We especially appreciated all the tables and gathering places inside and outside of the house. The house was clean and the kitchen was quite well stocked. The location was good, close to all aspects of SunRiver. The house is close to the railway, but we got use to the noise. There are just a couple things we would love to see changed. Switch from flannel sheets to cotton on the king bed, and get a new mattress for the queen bed. It was really soft. Overall, we had a great experience. Thanks.

Amazing location

I’ve been visiting Sunriver since I was a child. This house was perfect for our needs. It is a very short bike ride to the SHARC, the Village, and Fort Rock Park. It is also within easy walking distance to the SHARC and Village. We loved the Mountain bikes and used them daily for rides around SunRiver. The house is right by the railroad tracks but we were never bother by the noise. Instead, we thoroughly enjoyed the view whenever it passed by. We were also able to enjoy seeing a Mama doe with two fawns from the kitchen window as well as chipmunks on the deck. The owner Michelle is incredible and responds quickly to any questions and concerns. She is very kind, accommodating, and responsive.

Almost perfect

The house was great, it was clean and equipped with plenty to do! We enjoyed the deck every morning and evening, saw deer on several of those occasions. It was sadly too warm to use the hot tub for us, but we’re happy to have the option. The only downfall to the home is the A/C. It needs a bigger unit for the house, the upstairs was way to hot in the evening for the upstairs folks. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and the home.

We love that we’re just a short walk or bike ride away from local breweries, casual spots with tasty bites, and even fine dining experiences for those special nights out. The area is surrounded by beautiful walking and biking paths, perfect for exploring the natural beauty of Sunriver.

One of our favorite, unique touches is the train that passes through the area. Rather than being disruptive, it brings a sense of charm and nostalgia, adding to the quaint character and beauty of Sunriver. It’s a reminder that you’re away from the rush of city life, tucked into a peaceful high desert getaway where you can slow down and savor the moment.
