Was a very beautiful place to stay. Host were very kind and helpful. Kitchen is well stocked with pans, dishes and appliances. They let us bring our 3 dogs so that nice and we didn’t have to try and find someone to watch them.

This property is everything you see in the pictures and more! The decor in the house is worth the trip alone! The hosts are very responsive to any issues or questions, of which we had no issues.

This cabin was a nice and cozy retreat to return too after a day out visiting all the spectacular sights of the area. The hot tub was very much appreciated after our day chasing waterfalls or a little bit of hiking or horse back riding. Communication with the owners was excellent. The location is very private with a beautiful view in daytime, nice sunsets and the stars at night are exceptional. The kitchen appliances and grill actually worked as they should which made meal prep easy. Overall we had a very comfortable stay.

Property was surrounded by woods and quiet. There was a nice little pond there that we enjoyed watching deer feed around. The cabin was clean and well stocked. We were fascinated by the decorations through out the cabin. Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were. Also enjoyed the deck and fire pit. Would recommend this property to others.

We had a slight issue after check in, but the cleaner Cathy helped to resolve it very quickly. Very relaxing week, beautiful view from the upstairs bedroom balcony, and even saw a bit of wildlife. We’d love to stay again in the future.

We had a great time at Jim’s place. The kitchen had everything you would need for making dinners. It was so nice to sit out on the deck and the hot tub was a plus!!! we would definitely come back and stay at your place again. Our fur babies had the best time too thanks for being such great hosts.

We stayed for a long weekend to go skiing at timberline resort. The location was perfect and the house was clean and comfortable! The hot tub and wood burning fire place was a plus after a day of skiing! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in this area.

This was our second stay at Jim’s house. The location and views from the hot tub can’t be beat. The house is very clean, comfortable, and well stocked. I’m sure we’ll be back for a third stay soon!

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful cabin. The views are amazing, the peacefulness is great and we had everything that we needed. James is a great host. He verified that we arrived safely & that everything was as expected. After that he told us to contact him if we had any issues (which we didn't) & then went on to respect out privacy. I highly recommend!

The most important things we wanted in our chalet was a dog friendly, king bed, wood burning fireplace, a hot tub and a great view. This property hit it out of the park! I would highly recommend it, and would come back.

The chalet is a wonderful place to stay. It is secluded enough to be around nature. It is conveniently located around some scenic spots . The home has many amenities that you will need to make sure you stay as comfortable. The hot tub is amazing and has wonderful view. It’s a very relaxing and comfortable home. The host was wonderful from the very beginning before our stay and through our stay. He was responsive to any questions I had and was very helpful. He also provided an orientation document ahead of time which was very helpful to help get me up to speed on the property. If you’re in the Davis, West Virginia area this a wonderful property to stay at. I would highly recommend this property and will definitely stay there when we return to West Virginia in the future.

Jim was an amazing host! We had a wonderful 5 day stay in a beautiful home that’s packed with so many extras. The location is great if you’re looking for a nice quiet getaway. Beds were more comfortable then our own and the kitchen was top of the line! The fireplace and hot tub were so relaxing. We will definitely be staying there again for sure.

This was a perfect place for our family of 4 (and dog!). The house was very comfortable with great views of the mountains. We appreciated the quiet location and easy access to Dolly Sods. We enjoyed all of the amenities to enjoy the indoor and outdoor spaces: fire pit, corn hole, fireplace, foosball , darts, and hot tub!
