About this property

Recently constructed home located directly on the Atlantic Ocean. We just finished construction in 2013. Over 3000 square feet of interior space provides ample room for groups up to 10 in number. Large master bedroom/bathroom suite is located on the first floor. Fully equipped, modern kitchen is perfect for preparing meals for the entire family. Downstairs living and dining rooms and a relaxing screened in porch with ceiling fan are perfect for kicking back. Large upstairs with a second entertainment area and three spacious bedrooms completes the floor plan. The adjacent upstairs balcony is perfect for catching the sun and the breeze.

Large backyard with plenty of room for play and relaxation and small parties - rare landscaped lot with palms and private flower garden. Beach access is provided by a private catwalk. Beautiful sunrise and sunset views define the property.

St Augustine Beachfront

We gathered 3 adult kids and spouses for getaway after Christmas. Stayed 4 nights and had a great visit. House was ~ 15 minutes north of St Augustine and nice quiet retreat. Enjoyed the large gathering space and spacious kitchen. 8 chairs at the dining table fit us just right. 4 bedrooms worked well for our family. Little bit of road noise in the mornings with traffic headed to and from Ponte Vedra. Enjoyed lanai space and walkway directly to the beach. Sunrises and walks on the beach were perfect.

The property delivered!! Spacious house with amazing view of ocean! Kitchen had everything you needed. We loved the screened porch. The owners are quick to respond to any question. We would definitely book again on our next visit to the area!! Highly recommend.

Four Adults and Two dogs

What a perfect vacation spot for all of us! This was the first vacation for our dogs and it was super! Major advantages were the decks which allowed all of us to relax in comfort. Gracie, one of the dogs, liked the screened-in porch and Sallie, the other dog, liked the upstairs deck because she could lie in the shade while I was in the sun. The house was large which allowed all of us to "do our own thing" and not feel as though we were on top of anyone else. The house is located close to several excellent restaurants (Cap's on the Water is beautiful!) and the grocery store is close. St. Augustine is also close. In addition, the owners were very accommodating and answered any questions we had. In short, this was a wonderful vacation for all of us. Thank you!

I have lived in Jacksonville for 22 years and have worked as an emergency physician in the area since completing my residency at Shand's hospital. I have traveled extensively along the Florida coast and can tell you that northeast Florida is one of the most beautiful and pristine parts of the state. The coastal wildlife, from our vast bird preserve across the street to the rich St. John's river fishery, is unrivaled.

Why they chose this property

Our house is located on the northern segment of South Ponte Vedra Beach. This is a particularly desirable section of this beach because on the opposite side of A1A, the coastal highway, is Guana River State Park, which includes a large tidal estuary and a bird and wildlife preserve. Such a vast game preserve produces huge numbers of pelicans, ospreys, egrets, cranes, and wood-storks which fly over the house and feed in the ocean behind the house and the marsh in front of it. There is no commercial glare along this section of the beach. The dunes and beach are in their natural, un-replenished state. The color of the sand is a gorgeous coral hue.

What makes this property unique

The house is large (3000 sf) and rebuilt in 2013. The construction is solid poured concrete and the appliances and HVAC are new. As such, tenants enjoy a vacation right on the sand without having to tolerate the musty, beach-shack experience that is commonly encountered. As the photos portray, the house is elegantly appointed and gorgeously decorated.
