Back in the BVI

Twin Oceans was a wonderful stay with such a beautiful view. Amazing sunsets and rainbows everyday. Our host was very easy to work with and the house was excellent. We highly recommend.

Great experience all around!

The house was exactly as advertised. Beautiful views, all the amenities you would need and super helpful hosts. We were given great recommendations and were met when we arrived to be sure we found the house and had everything we would need. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We had an incredible week at this beautiful villa in Tortola. The views were absolutely breathtaking. The open-air main living space was one of our favorite features. It always had a refreshing breeze and was so comfortable day and night.Heather, our host, was spectacular — warm, welcoming, and super responsive throughout our stay. The house was well-stocked with everything we needed to make our trip easy and enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would come back in a heartbeat!

Best place for our family celebration!

House was amazing. Heather was beyond believable. So grateful for her help to make our stay perfect. House has a great layout with 4 rooms/separate bathrooms and kitchen is detached which is so wonderful. Would definitely come back!

The View

Fantastic views from John to Jost! Very relaxing. Having a/c in bedrooms for comfortable sleeping, a big plus. 8 people with our group and never felt crowded.

Amazing views!

This visit was a dream come true! The house pictures were accurate and our stay was smooth and enjoyable. The views at this property are stunning. Heather is like a bonus amenity that wasn’t disclosed! She helped us with everything from ferry service to car rental to excursions and grocery delivery! I’d highly recommend staying here!

Paradise

We had the best trip! The house was gorgeous, comfortable and clean. Heather helped with every detail from unpacking groceries that were delivered, to setting us up with a taxi driver from the airport, to checking in each day to help with our plans. We couldn’t recommend this property (or any of Heather’s) more!

We loved Twin Oceans! Beautiful view, lovely house and outdoor spaces. This was our first time to Tortola and we loved it. Beyond Expectations!

Expectations were set high from pics and the property exceeded them! The amazing views, the house layout, the pool, the furnishings - we were just blown away! On top of all that, the host, Heather, was so attentive and personable. From restaurant and beach recommendations to arranging for house cleaning, she went above and beyond - always getting back to me within minutes. Highly recommend this property!

We have been to Tortola 3 times and this by far was the most amazing house. The views are unbelievable. The house is beautiful and has everything you would want on a vacation. Heather the owner was so helpful full of information, recommendations, and responded super quick to all of my questions. She could not have been nicer. If you are looking for a house to stay in I would recommend this one 100 percent.

Fabulous stay in Tortola

Kudos to our host Heather for a fabulous stay in her amazing waterfront, mountaintop home. The pictures don't begin to describe the breathtaking panoramic views that meet you every time you step onto the stunning outdoor living space. This is indoor/outdoor living at its best. Loved eating at great restaurants...all short distances from home base. Also hosted a wonderful chef who prepared dinner for our party of five while watching a beautiful Tortola sunset. Local beaches were beautiful as well. It was a magical week and we hope to be back.

Two weeks in paradise!

Our group of 8 adults had a wonderful stay at Twin Oceans on Spyglass. Everything was perfect and the listing is spot-on. The views in all directions are breathtaking. Loved that the pool faces south and gets full sun all day. Heather and Beverly took great care of us and were always quick to respond to any questions. All bedroom suites and common areas are very spacious, so there's plenty of room to spread out. Can't imagine a better place to stay in Tortola. This home has it all. Can't wait to return to paradise!

Indoor Outdoor Living with an Unbeatable View

My time at "Cart Part" on Tortola, BVI was incredible. A group of 6 friends stayed here comfortably and the house could easily accommodate more. The house are just what the pictures depicted. There are plenty of hangout spots outside of the which is great for a group. The vistas all from the home are amazing and make for great sunsets. The host, Heather, was a great resource throughout my stay connecting me with a car rental, boat charter, and restaurant recommendations. I couldn't recommend staying here more.

BVI Adventure

It is a beautiful property with excellent hosts. It is definitely a rugged road to get up to it, but once up there the views are worth it! The only difficulty for us (and it’s my fault for not really paying attention to the listing) was that only the bedrooms are air conditioned. Twin Oceans has beautiful outdoor living space with a nice breeze that makes up for it, I’m just not always great with the heat.

Thanks for your lovely review Christine. Your visit was in one of the hottest times of the year in the BVI/Caribbean in general. Most of the villas here have the same kind of set up in regard to AC in the living areas in order to maximise on the indoor/outdoor lifestyle, synonymous with Caribbean culture. The kitchen and living room are pretty much part of the oustide covered living space with just a few walls and mostly huge glass doors that open up completely to the pool deck. and dining area. It would therefore not really make sense to put AC in that area and from extensive feedback, we have found that the two large ceiling fans do a great job in circulating the air. We are happy that you enjoyed all the breezes that pass through that part of the house and enjoyed the AC in the bedrooms that are not so much part of the outside and where doors would be kept closed most of the time.

Absolutely perfect!

We had such an amazing time here! Everything was wonderful. The host Heather was so kind and helpful with every detail. She always got back to us immediately with answers to our questions and was extremely knowledgeable. The location was perfect for our family. Short drive to the beach and restaurants. Great Stay

Eight adults in this wonderful house on top of the mountain with unbelievable views of islands to your south and north. The house itself is setup as previously discussed in other reviews as very open and accommodating for big group of friends. Every bedroom has a bathroom and air conditioning to sleep in. My wife and I met Heather (owner) the first day and she couldn’t have been more pleasant to deal with. I highly recommend you use her expertise of all things on the island. We were so sad to leave, but will definitely be back. Don’t think twice, this house is a great place to enjoy the BVI.

Spectacular villa with phenomenal views!

I have travelled all over the Caribbean for the past 40 years. This was literally one of the best islands and villas I have Ever stayed on and in! Heather was super responsive to all of our questions and needs. The villa was spotless (thank you Beverly) and had everything needed for a perfect stay! The views are unbelievable from this vila rebuilt after hurricane Irma. The beds were comfy and each bedroom had its own bathroom making this a perfect place for our “girl’s” trip. The villa’s kitchen has two refrigerators and everything you need to make a gourmet or family meal. The patio and pool has several seating arrangements as well. We had a yoga class by the pool every gorgeous morning over looking the other islands. Everyone on Tortola was so warm and welcoming and our day trips to nearby islands were phenomenal. Smugglers cove/ beach is a short drive away with beach chairs, snorkeling, fabulous beach food and drinks! All of the restaurants were beyond fantastic! I will be back! Make sure and stop for island souvenirs at Nutmegs on your way home!

Twin Oceans a "Gem of the BVI!"

Twin Oceans (which we adoringly dubbed the "Villa") on Tortola in the British Islands is a real gem. Located atop Spyglass Hill, the property offers sweeping views of Sir Francis Drake Channel and St. Thomas to the Port and Jost Van Dyke, to the Starboard and total vastness of the bright blue Caribbean Sea. You won't be able to miss the beautiful sunsets to the west! The accommodations are great with 4 individual bedrooms each with its own bathroom. The kitchen is open and airy, allowing the gentle trade winds to cross-breeze through. The pool is great any time of the day! The Villa is super clean. Located in the West End, it is close to many wonderful beaches (just a short 10-minute drive). The best part of this Villa: The hospitality! The host Heather and her son Joe are over-the-top attentive and accommodating! Silly me let the battery die in my rental car, but with a quick call to Joe and a related message to Heather, she brought over jumper cables within an hour! Plus, the Villa has history and heart. Heather shared an interesting story of the island and hurricane Irma; Twin Oceans was actually destroyed by the hurricane in August 2017 (only walls left standing) and was rebuilt by the Chapman family (that's Heather!) and brought back to its amazing like-new condition. Twin Oceans gets a 5 STAR rating by me and my discerning family! It accommodated all 11 of us comfortably, including 4 little kids.

Gorgeous Views, Excellent Location

My husband and I stayed at this villa for 5 weeks, during that time we had friends and family visit us. The views of the twin oceans are absolutely breathtaking, we enjoyed morning coffee taking them all in. The villa has four bedrooms, we used all of them. Very clean, spacious and most had their own private sitting area. Plenty of room for everyone to get away if they wanted to. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need. We cooked many meals and never had any issues. The pool was great, not the biggest but does the job on hot days. There are even pool floats to enjoy. Heather was amazing with contact before and during. Anything you had an issue with someone was right there to take care of it. Thank you, Heather, Joe, & Beverly Some recommendations we enjoyed during our stay: Smugglers Beach- Breathtaking views stay on the left side of beach and let Patricia and Bushman make your drinks and food. Excellent service! Cane Garden Bay for sunset can’t be beat. Myetts is a fun place to go for happy hour. West End Dining is so close we loved- The Sugarmill Bananakeet Omar’s (breakfast or dinner at Sooners Hole Sebastian’s Roadtown Dining- Capriccio di Mare (cute Italian place with good food) If cooking at the villa highly recommend Steakation, we used them every week and their meat and seafood is so fresh! Absolutely loved the entire Island and will be back. The people who live there are some of the nicest people we met!

Most beautiful views!

We had an amazing time in Tortola and staying at this property! It was great for us since we all get our separate rooms, since we are all adults. The pool was perfect as well! Love the open air indoor/outdoor living spaces. It was a dream vacation! The house is up on a pretty steep hill, so we found having a Jeep or 4 wheel drive vehicle necessary. Heather and the housekeeper were so helpful and we had groceries delivered to the house before we arrived and they helped out with everything. We will definitely be back! The views from the top of the hill were the most spectacular I’ve ever seen!
