Perfect Durango getaway!

The home was perfect in every way. Great location, and was exactly as the pictures showed. Peaceful neighborhood, and watched the train go by during the day. Durango hot springs is right across the road. The house was beautiful, and thoughtfully stocked with amenities, towels, etc. Just perfect for our extended family!

Dalton Ranch Stay

Overall we enjoyed the location. Train going by every morning was exciting for our grandchildren. Owner was very responsive to questions. The price seemed a bit high for home, finishes and no a/c but that is probably due to Covid. Garage with pool table and spa was a bit unusual also. Overall we enjoyed our stay though and the home worked well for our needs. Thank you.

Came up for the weekend and the property was perfect. Quiet neighborhood with plenty of space for the kids to play outside and just a short drive back to enjoy downtown Durango!

Lovely house

The property was very clean. There are plenty of towels and linens. There were some toys/games for the kids. The kitchen is well appointed. The location is on a golf course. The lawn is very well kept. There is plenty of outdoor space. The train can be seen from the windows. Deer were on property almost every day we were there. The host responds quickly. He even sent a list of local things to do! My granddaughter asked if we could come back before we even left.

Fantastic Home, Fantastic Location

This on-the-golf-course property was a perfect location between Purgatory (where we skied) and the town of Durango (where we ate and played after skiing). Off in the distance on the other side of the golf course, we were able to see the steam train go by in the daytime through the many massive windows on the backside of the house. Very charming! The home is extremely well appointed with lovely furnishings, a wonderful hot tub in the heated garage and the easiest to start gas fireplace ever! All you have to do is flip a switch and the heat it puts out is impressive. We cooked a couple of meals in the home and had all the cookware / bakeware we needed. The laundry room was very convenient and even had a large washtub in it. The beds were very comfortable and it was very easy for all 7 people to spread out and have their own space. At the end of a ski day, we had plenty of hot water for everyone to take showers without having to wait for there to be more hot water. Dallas was very responsive and super easy to communicate with. He provides a mini-van for you to drive around for an extra fee if you need an extra vehicle during your stay or if you fly into town. This place is a gem and the best VRBO we have stayed at in all the years we have been skiing.
