My family has been vacationing at silver lake for over 30 years. This property was the best we have ever rented! From the accommodations to the huge porch, it didn’t matter whether we were eating, sleeping, relaxing or socializing; the place was awesome! But without a doubt, the best feature was the huge porch! We had 4 generations of my family out there together, it was awesome!

Amazing, beautiful home!

The home was amazing and perfect for us. (4 adults, 2 children) The huge kitchen was great for cooking meals at the cottage, and the covered deck was awesome! We ate all of our meals out there and used the grill. The living room is a great place to gather and the comfy sectional was large enough for all of us to sit and relax. We took advantage of having a washer and dryer (traveling with little kids is tough but being able to do laundry is a game changer!) Thank you so much for a wonderful week at the beach, we loved everything about our stay.

Beautiful Home

Arrived at the home. Everything was clean and well kept. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was nice and roomy with plenty of room to do the preparation for meals. We used the grill a couple of times. But we mostly enjoyed the the beautiful covered deck as we spent every night out there. We refilled the propane and used the tabletop fire pit to keep warm since it was a bit chilly and windy most every night we stayed. . We love the Silver Lake area. This is now our favorite property so far.

Family wedding

We were in the area for a family wedding. Property is in a great location, clean and comfortable. The deck made the perfect stop to relax for family between wedding activities. Communication with Shari was easy! Would definitely recommend.

Perfect Place!!

We traveled with our 3 yo and 2 other other couples and we couldn't have been happier. The quality of the home, location, how it was stocked, decorated.....every aspect was perfect!! The covered patio was absolutely wonderful! We can't wait to visit again next year!!

Great stay at silver lake

Property was wonderful. Very clean, great communication with owner, and had everything we needed. Large new deck was great- we ate all our meals outside and the kids had space to run around. Great location! Thanks Shari for allowing us to stay at your home!

Great House & Location

The house was fantastic and exactly as described! The owners were very pleasant and responsive. The deck they recently finished was a huge hit with our group. The house has everything you may need in the kitchen as far as utensils. It also has a nice fire pit but you do need to bring your own wood or buy some along the road (very reasonable and lots of options). The house is in a great location and is close to the dunes, restaurants, Craig’s cruisers, etc! The only thing we forgot to bring and didn’t find were beach towels. They had white towels in the bathroom and we didn’t dare take them to the beach. Our son loved playing with the toys they had in the house for children and they also had a pack and play available to use which was great. All 5 of us agreed we’d stay here again. Thank you to the owners for such a great place.
