1,000 square-feet, NON-smoking, CLEAN, AIR CONDITIONED and well maintained A-Frame Cottage with dormitory style sleeping quarters that sleeps 8. New Hide-a-bed sofa in Living room and new premium queen mattresses in sleeping quarters. Smart TV. Kitchen is fully equipped, right down to the coffee maker. Outside is a gas grill and fire pit area with chairs. Ample parking for up to three vehicles with trailers in front yard.
Due to allergies No Pets Allowed
The cottage sits on a quiet street within walking distance of go-carts, miniature golf, shopping, restaurants, and more. Silver Lake Sand Dunes entrance (off road area) is just 1 mile away. An association pool and playground are included and just down the street.

The cottage was nice, clean, and comfortable. Diana was friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. One thing to note is that guests should plan to bring their own paper products and soap, as these were not provided. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The Host was very accommodating to our needs, however, there were several items expected to be there but were not, for example, table salt, and dish soap. We were expected to clean up before we left but we could not find the cleaning supplies needed. The dish drying rack was not the best since we had to wash all our dishes by hand. The home smelled like "old cabin. "Other than these few inconveniences it was cozy and we overall enjoyed our stay.

It was a great place for my two sons and myself to get away on vacation for a few days.I liked that it wasn’t far from the dune entrance, it was quiet and walking distance to town.Also, Diana and her husband were really nice and I enjoyed talking with them.I would stay here again.

Very charming cabin located in the perfect spot. Very relaxing away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to explore on foot or by car.The Host was very informative on the main attractions in the area.We were able to take in so many sites and make so many memories. Great place, well maintained, walking distance to the chicken shack! Great communication with owners, good price. Just dont forget to bring your own towels, soaps and toilet paper! Rented multiple times and plan to again!

Perfect A-Frame Cottage for a Relaxing Lake Michigan Weekend

We recently stayed at this A-frame cottage and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The home was exactly as described—clean, cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway.The kitchen had all the essentials for cooking meals, and we especially enjoyed relaxing in the evenings after exploring. The beds were very comfortable, and the linens were high quality.Just a heads-up: you do need to bring your own bathing and beach towels, dish soap, hand soap, paper towel, and toilet paper, as those items are not provided.Communication with the host was excellent. They were responsive, friendly, and made sure we felt welcomed. Check-in was easy, and we appreciated the helpful information about the area.The location was fantastic—close to many beautiful Lake Michigan beaches, the Mac Dune Rides, and other local attractions. We also loved having access to the outdoor pool, which was a great bonus for unwinding after a day out.Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay—peaceful, comfortable, and convenient. We had a fantastic time and would definitely return. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a hassle-free and memorable vacation rental on Michigan’s West Side!

GREAT LOCATION.

We like to visit the dunes few times a year and this place was perfectly located few minutes from the dunes in the heart of the town area. Nice neighborhood and there's a pool in the beginning of the entrance of the road as an added activity to do.

Super clean little cottage, with plenty of space for the family. As a bonus we had access to a private community pool and playground for the neighborhood. We loved being walking distance to all the shops and food too.

Nice stay.

Very easy to acquire thru VRBO. Was walking distance to town we’re the shops and restaurants are. We had 2 trucks, SUV and a trailer and everything fit in the parking area. The stairs were steep to the upstairs. So I slept downstairs and let my 19-22 yo sleep upstairs. Diana was very friendly when I met her. Didn’t have a chance to use the pool. But we’re there to pretty much just go to the dunes. Comfortable stay.
