This place is a ten out of ten. Everything was just as it was posted and they had everything you’d want or expect. You won’t be disappointed and if you are planning on cooking, they have everything you’d need. Our plan is to come back at Thanksgiving.The communication was great and place was clean and smelled great.Wonderful wonderful weekend.

Great location and quiet street- very peaceful retreat after winery visits. Beds were very comfortable and 2 baths were great. We didn’t cook but the kitchen was well appointed if we had needed it. Backyard was beautiful oasis.

We took a family ladies trip to Fredericksburg for a long weekend, and I am so glad we picked Jim and Michele's place. We absolutely LOVED our stay at Blue Skylark!! The pictures are accurate, and, believe it or not, it is even more beautiful in person. The bedrooms are well equipped with mirrors, ceiling fans, additional portable fans, luggage racks, plenty of organized closet space, hangers, hooks, and the beds themselves are super comfortable. The living room is spacious and cozy at the same time... we loved the recliners! The kitchen had everything we needed and several nice extras. The backyard is gorgeous, and the neighborhood is so peaceful! There were 6 of us ladies, ages 49 to 98, and we just could not have asked for a better place to make memories this summer. Thank you, Jim and Michele!!!

Blue Skylark was a wonderful home base as we explored Fredricksburg - it's so central, but it's also tucked away from the main streets and traffic. Check-in was easy, and we had no trouble finding plenty of towels and linens. They provided full-size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, so if you forget to bring your own, you won't have to worry about running out of tiny sample sizes. We had no issues with cleanliness or finding anything during our stay. We highly recommend Blue Skylark!
