This home was exactly what we needed! The hosts were extremely accommodating and made the same more enjoyable with the assistance of a shower chair. Communication was amazing and the location is prime. Will definitely be coming back!
We loved the house, it was everything we needed and it accomodated our disabled friend perfectly. It was close enough to downtown but far enough away to enjoy the quiet.
Loved the place. Felt so homely and spacious. My family and I enjoyed our stay. Host made our stay very comfortable and was easy to communicate. Highly recommend this place.
The cabin was beautifully decorated and met our family’s disabilities needs. The open living room, dining room, and kitchen areas as well as the five bedrooms and three bathrooms were on one level so this enhanced moving from one room to another. Two of the three bathrooms are designed for handicap visitors. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely stay here again!
My family of 8 stayed here for a vacation. Place was clean, easy to get to, beds were comfortable, and plenty of seating for family meals and gatherings!
Awesome accommodations! 5 bd, 3 ba is perfect for a larger group. Location was close to everything, easy to get to dinner or an activity with 15 minutes. Quiet, beautiful surroundings. The owners were responsive and lovely to work with. If they will have us, we will be back.
It was perfect for a family Thanksgiving getaway weekend. Plenty of space for 6 adults and a toddler, clean and cozy. Close enough to town but still has a cozy cabin vibe. Spacious kitchen/dining/living area perfect for everyone to gather around the tv and dining table.
Awesome Cabin on the north side of Gatlinburg. Plenty of room. 5 bedrooms, 3 baths, great room, kitchen, and dining room. ADA compliant which was good for my 93 year old mother. The outdoor fire ring was great for having a campfire and cooking smores. Enjoyed our stay!
Stayed here with 3 individuals with special needs and mobility issues. Was perfect and accessible for all. This is a rare find in the mountains and we are so happy to have found it. Owner was helpful and available. Everyone enjoyed their stay and we hope to visit again.
Honey Hive Hideaway is very conveniently located just outside of downtown in what seemed to be a more local residential area. The cabin itself was very clean and well kept. Plenty of bed space with all large bed and 3 full bathrooms made it very convenient for our group of friends to stay the night comfortably. we would definitely return.
Perfect cabin for a family trip. The cabin was clean and spacious and felt like home away from home. Very close to downtown Gatlinburg but also a very easy drive to Dollywood and Pigeon Ford. The owners were wonderful and we had no issues at all. A wonderful advantage is all the bedrooms and bathrooms for our family of 7. We are definitely looking forward to a return visit!
Had 4 married family 2 children, plenty of room. One family was wheelchair bound. Being how the assessable areas were all on the same floor with a ramp to get to it was a great plus.

We hope you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again soon.
-Melissa and Brian
The host Brian is amazing and very friendly, helpful, and responds quickly! Myself and my family have been coming to the Smokys for many years and I have to say this is one of the cleanest and nicest places we have stayed! Love the rocking chairs on the front porch and the back deck on which we ate every night and its even covered! The beds were very comfortable and the decor is amazing and you can tell some time was spent on the remodel! I highly recommend this place and even though we arent a wheelchair family still loved the accessibility and the layout of the place! We will rent here again as we usually come down every year and every time we come I question my decision to keep living in Wisconsin LOL
This experience was incredible from the very beginning. Brian answered questions quickly via text as well as kept in touch for our arrival. Brian and Melissa thought of everything we needed to make the trip memorable for the 2 wheelchair bound guests in our group. Melissa even went out of her way to help in anyway she could and it made out check in painless and our stay off to a great start. Having handicapped people can be a challenge for traveling but they accommodated us beautifully. Every one could not say enough about the comfort of each of the beds. Better than some of us have at home. lol When we left we all agreed we will definitely be back and stay longer. You will not find anywhere more comfortable and enjoyable in the Smokey Mountain Area - or Anywhere in fact! Honey Hive Hideaway is the BEST EVER ANYWHERE
We stayed at Honey Hive Hideaway for a long weekend gathering of 3 adult siblings, their spouses/children and our mom. Honey Hive Hideaway is conveniently located very near Great Smokey National Park entrance/Gatlinburg area. The host, Brian, was very responsive and helpful in order to make our stay comfortable. We did not have anyone handicapped in our group, however we did have toddlers... a single story (rare in this area if looking for accommodations for a larger group) made toddler proofing much simpler. This property has three full baths, all opening into the hall/common area, again, super conducive to a larger groups' use. Everything was clean, comfortable and in working order- fresh flowers on the tables and farm fresh eggs in the fridge were an above and beyond touch to help us feel right at home/welcomed. We enjoyed the outside spaces- covered front and back porches, a firepit, some green space for playing, and plenty of seating all around. As a reader, my heart felt warmed to see baskets of books in each room for perusing/reading- along with multiple soft throw blankets throughout the home- this property invites guests to relax and unwind. These property owners have thought of all those little extra touches that make a big difference- I would highly recommend their property and would enjoy staying here again.
