About this property

Peaceful/Relaxing. Walking distance to the Taos Plaza, side-walks all the way.

The rental is off of Salazar Rd, it's 1000 square feet, southwestern style, and sits on approximately .500 an acre. There is a big spacious backyard and plenty of parking space. The rental is built of Rastra Block, which is an insulated concrete block, it helps to keep the rental warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The bedrooms have skylights, it makes it nice, if you enjoy seeing the stars before falling asleep or if you prefer you can close the blinds. it keeps it nice and dark. NEW: King Bed. The bedrooms have ceiling fans, the fans have 3 speeds. You'll enjoy the radiant heat that keeps the floor so nice and warm. you'll love the beautiful stained turquoise floors. You can also enjoy a cozy fire utilizing the Kiva Fireplace. We supply a bundle of wood for our guests. The walls are made of diamond finish. The sofa's are very comfortable! We fenced in part of the backyard for pets. In back of the property there is a road named Hatchery Rd that can be used for walking your dog. The pet fee is 55.00 per pet., Smart TV, WIFI, Fiber Otic. I have a camera in the front entrance and the backyard. You'll enjoy that you’re right in the heart of Taos, Galleries, Shops, Stores and much more.

A perfect location, situated within walking distance of shops, restaurants and galleries. Accommodations were excellent - comfortable beds and living room couch, well-stocked kitchen and lovely yard. The owner of this property clearly put a lot of effort into making this property a delight to stay in. This was also one of the cleanest short-term rentals we’ve stayed in. Kudos to the host!

Super clean and well stocked home. We really enjoyed our stay at this home. Walking to the Plaza was easy. Host was very attentive and provided all necessary info. Loved the personal touches, fresh flowers, coffee and snacks. Will definitely stay here again.

Adorable little cottage

The host was very welcoming and helpful. Her place is beautiful and the blue floors are GORGEOUS. Its very tasteful and appealing, a great location and just has a good feel to it! It was very nice to stay in a 2 bedroom adobe cottage.

Girls Getaway

Perfect spot for visiting Taos with a friend. Close to everything. We visited in the fall and loved walking the neighborhood amidst golden leaves. Host provided thoughtful touches. Enjoyed!

Awesome!

Zenda was responsive and checked in during our stay to make sure everything was going well. She even had fresh donuts waiting for us when we arrived. If we return to Taos, we would happily stay here again. Great location and well equipped house., very clean.

Short & Sweet

Our visit was only for two nights but we made the most of it. Our rental was very comfortable. Loved the size of the yard, privacy, parking and location, location, location :-) Kitchen is on the small size but we had planned breakfast only, a late lunch out and snacks in the evening while enjoying TV and Netflix provided. Rental was spotless. Lounging on the very comfortable sofas in the evening added to our enjoyment. Taos fall colors were amazing!!

Cozy, warm, clean, and comfy!

From the moment I booked our stay at Zenda's house, everything was handled professionally and smoothly. The house more than lives up to the gorgeous photos! It was a cold time in Taos, but we were always cozy and warm because of the radiant heat in the beautiful floors. Zenda was available to bring us anything we needed, and to give recommendations for restaurants in the area. I'm so glad we got to meet her, because it gave our stay an added personal touch. She had fresh flowers and snacks and a pastry waiting for us in the house. We felt welcomed and VERY well taken care of! The location is perfect--- a short walk to the Plaza with its shops and galleries, and the Harwood Museum. It was such a pleasure to stay in a home with lovely furnishings, comfortable beds, relaxing furniture, a wonderful Kiva fireplace, and a fully furnished kitchen. Our gracious host thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and complete! We look forward to booking this same house again in the future.

Such a wonderful home! Very cozy and close to the plaza. We easily took an Uber for dinner and back for a quiet evening. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! Another time! Thank you for the birthday card

Why they chose this property

Why this property is a great stay, is because it's easy access to all the stores and shops at the historic plaza and all other types of shopping. Smith's grocery store is right around the corner from the property, the laundromat is across from Smith's. You are in a residential area but within walking distance to the historic Taos, plaza. It's cozy and comfortable, has everything you need for cooking a nice meal. In the summer you can sit outside in the backyard, relax and have a cookout.

You'll be in a residential area and yet your near the commercial area, you get a taste of both, residential and commercial.
