Lovely stay near Dives Sue Mer

We found this property on very short notice after arriving in France for a wedding and discovering our original Home-to-Go rental has been cancelled! We are a family with 5 kids ages 25-15 and this place ended up being perfect as each one had space of his/her own to disappear to when needed. Everyone slept well and there was a big yard to kick around soccer balls, etc. We did not expect to stay in Normandy on this trip and therefore had no set plans for the area. We quickly discovered there was a lot to see! The area satisfied those of us interested in WWII and those interested in medieval history quite well. A highlight was the Bayeux Tapestry and Mont St. Michel as well as the Caen Memorial Museum. Plus 3 of the boys enjoyed an afternoon of paintball not too far away! The beaches were quite lovely with a beautiful boardwalk to walk along and we found plenty of places for good French food.

La maison a le charme d’une ancienne demeure, avec ses murs épais en pierre et ses grandes fenêtres sur les côtés, ce qui la garde agréablement fraîche.Un de nos coups de cœur fut la cuisine spacieuse ouverte sur le salon, mais intelligemment séparée d’un deuxième espace avec TV : parfait pour que les enfants et les adultes puissent profiter de leurs activités chacun de leur côté.Très pratique également : un WC à mi-étage vers les chambres, qui sont toutes très généreusement aménagées et avec beaucoup de goût. Nous étions neuf personnes, et tout le monde a trouvé les lits de grande qualité !Les grandes fenêtres offrent une belle vue sur le jardin, dont nous avons profité à différents moments de la journée selon le soleil.Les courses sont très faciles à faire en voiture : grâce à la proximité de la route, on rejoint en quelques minutes aussi bien les grands supermarchés que les petites boulangeries locales. Enfin, Matthieu a toujours répondu très rapidement à nos questions via WhatsApp — merci encore pour sa disponibilité !

Mooi familiehuis

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf. Het huis is heel ruim en smaakvol ingericht. Er is een grote praktische keuken, een mooie tuin en de slaapkamers zijn in orde. Wat wij wel een nadeel vonden, was het feit dat er geen wandelpaden in de buurt van het huis zijn. Het was dus altijd nodig om een auto te gebruiken om ergens te geraken.

Excellent séjour en famille

Agréable maison pour des retrouvailles en familles (12 personnes). Au Rez de chaussé grands espaces ouverts et lumineux : cuisine très spacieuse permettant de cuisiner à plusieurs et les 2 séjours et coin salle à manger offrent beaucoup de possibilités conviviales. Chambres au premier étage joliment décorées et grand espace ludique au second étage. Emplacement en bordure de la D27 très proche de Dives et de Cabourg. Merci pour votre accueil
