Huckleberry Cottage at Cozy Nook

Huckleberry, one of 5 cottages at Cozy Nook is named after an Island near Log Bay in Lake George, is a quaint cottage that sleeps 2 guests on a queen-sized bed in a studio layout. Linens and Towels will NOT be provided. The cottage was completely renovated in 2019 in an Adirondack theme.

A kitchenette that includes a refrigerator, electric cook top, sink, microwave, toaster oven and drip coffee maker. Also included is a small assortment of dishes, cups, silverware, pots and pans.
Outside is a gas grill, picnic table and a firepit.

We are 2 miles from the town beach, five minutes from The Great Escape, five minutes from the Strip in Lake George, and the bike trail is directly across the street. Bring the bikes, bring the kids and have some fun on the bike trail.

Cottage was cozy and cute for me and my husband...Shower was a little small for us but overall nice...driveway was a little tough to park, could be a better spot for our cottage...overall was a nice place to stay.

Very convenient to get to the balloon festival and also to Lake George. My cottage was ready early and they left me check in. Dollar General was only 2 minutes away.

Nice little cabin!

Loved the privacy & location. Perfect cabin for 1 person. My only issue was my truck was too big for the parking space, which made it tough to get in/out of. Would definitely rent a cabin here again!

Nice little cabin

Very clean cabin. But a very small shower stall. Not for big people. I’m only 5’7” and not heavy. Way too small for me. Bring a towel to put on floor outside shower as water will get out. Seemed a bit clammy in the cabin too.

I just loved staying in this little Huckleberry Cottage in Lake George, NY. I was so excited to be there. The host, Lauren, was so accommodating, so sweet and so nice and was there for us any time we needed her. Lauren allowed us to have our teeny little dogs and was so sweet about it. We were so grateful for that. There was lots of little areas to walk them around.I loved the little kitchen and there was plenty of room in the fridge and all the essentials that one needs in a kitchen.The bathroom was comfortable and had a little storage area above the toilet to store your items. Our showers were nice and warm all the time.The only downside to this little place was that it sits right between I-87 and Rt. 9. It's quite busy and loud day and night. You can hear the fireworks and loud motorcycles rumbling by on those 2 routes. But you get used to it. And hey...its Lake George - a fun exciting place!! You can't hear the noises inside the cottage. We enjoyed the fire pit, cooking on the gas grill outside and the front porch is sweet. TV time was so snuggly and the bed was very, very comfortable. This location is so close to the Lake George Village which was so much fun. We would come back next year and make sure to be in one of the bigger cottages.I recommend Cozy Nook Cottages for your stay. You will love your host and the location is AMAZING to all the shops, food, restaurants, boat rides, the beach...and the exciting Village.Susie and PatOcala, FL

Great location!

Cottage is small but definitely perfect for us. Weather was perfect. Wish owner had been honest when I asked if bed was full size, description on their website, or queen size, description on Vrbo, as required I brought my own sheets and queen size sheets were too big. I specifically asked as my husband is 6'3 and 325lbs so bed size matters. We made it work and didn't complain as this was a special vacation for us and still had a great time.

Perfect for our needs

We had family camping down the street. The huckleberry cottage was perfect for our needs. We camped by day and slept comfortably in the cottage. Perfectly located.

Cozy Nook is the very best name for the property. Huckleberry was extremely cozy!

The cottage was nicely decorated and stocked with essentials like pretty wine glasses, big coffee mugs and a binder filled with recommendations of where to order take out. The furniture was comfortable and the TV works great. I just wish there were hooks to hang clothes up. But for the price you really can’t complain!

Clean, Rustic, Close to the center of Lake George

The hosts respond to any issues within a day. The grill was nice to have as was the fire pit. The neighborhood was safe. The cabins are between the highway and the main road so you can hear the traffic/trucks at night. It is a nice basic cabin. Remember to bring sheets and towels. You are also just a few minute drive from the Outlet malls and a Target/Walmart/Dollar Store etc.

As a family we purchased Cozy Nook Cottages in 2020. We spend most of the summer camping in the Adirondacks, especially Lake George. We love the family, friendly feel and open space available at the cottages. The location is perfect to head into town and enjoy the day at the beach, have dinner on the water and then go back to the cottages for a campfire and some s'mores. We are updating them and adding our own personal touches and we hope that you will enjoy them as much as we do.
