Sunny Cottage at Cozy Nook

Sunny Cottage, one of the 5 cottages at Cozy Nook was named after a beautiful island near Turtle Bay, in the Northern part of Lake George. Sunny has one bedroom that can sleep two people in it's king-sized Bed. Additional sleeping for one adult (2 small children) is available on a pull out couch in living room. Linens and towels will NOT be provided. This quaint cottage has a lovely kitchenette, Amish Style high-top table with saddle stools and a mid-sized refrigerator. Available for our guests is an electric burner, microwave, toaster oven, and drip coffee maker.
Grill, fire pit and picnic table area as well as a lawn for summer activities are all available for guests of Sunny Cottage. Cozy Nook Cottages is located just 2 minutes from the main strip in Lake George, five minutes from the Great Escape and the Adirondack Shopping Outlets. We are 1.5 miles from the town beach and the bike trail is directly across the street. Bring your bikes, bring the kids and have fun on the bike trail.

A Sunny Place!

We were very pleased with our stay at Sunny cottage. The cottage was even roomier than what we expected! Everything was comfortable and very clean. The cottage is in an excellent location for visiting all of the nearby venues. It is located on a quiet road which was convenient for walking and biking, and we enjoyed evenings around the fire pit. The host was responsive and welcoming. This was a great vacation spot for us, and we recommend it!

Great Stay in Lake George!!

This was our second year at Sunny Cottage in Cozy Nook. Always a great stay - cabin was clean and the location is right outside LG Village. Only a couple of miles to the village. I would go back year after year!!

Fantastic Stay!

The Sunny Cottage was very clean and perfect for our long weekend getaway! The king size bed was so comfortable! The kitchenette was cute and had everything we needed. We loved our stay there and would highly recommend it to others and will be back again!

Great Stay in Lake George!!

Wanted to leave a short note to anyone wanting to stay in the Lake George area on Route 9. It was a 2 mile drive to Lake George Village - a quiet stay in a cozy, new, clean cottage. We had our 5 year old JRT stay with us. The owner of the property answered all my questions within 6 hours even when I was on vacation, it was like she was there on the property and that is a major plus. the cottage has a nice King size comfy bed, normally the beds are horrible - but this bed was like the one from home so sleeping was always great! The kitchenette has all items that you will need for your stay. The fridge is a nice size also! Living Room and Bedroom each had an air conditioner and the cottage was very cool on the hot humid days we had up there for the week. The grill is a nice touch too! Kudos to the owner - the cottage SUNNY was the perfect stay and hope to rent again next summer!!!

Nice private location away from busy town. Very buggy, unable to keep bugs outside. Could use better landscaping maintenance. Needs at least a small kitchenette with stools, can’t eat inside comfortably. Bathroom & shower very small. Overall not bad!

Cozy clean cottage

Sunny cottage was freshly painted recently and very clean. King size bed was very comfortable. Had everything I needed including dishes and a burner and outdoor gas grill. Enjoyed making a fire in the fire pit on the beautiful yard. Perfect area in quiet location but close to attractions. We enjoyed our stay very much and I always had immediate responses from the owner if I had any questions.

As a family we purchased the Cozy Nook Cottages in 2020. We spend most of the summer camping in the Adirondacks, especially Lake George. We love the family, friendly feel and open space available at the cottages. The location is perfect to head into town and enjoy the day at the beach, have dinner on the water and then go back to the cottages for a campfire and some s'mores. We are updating them and adding our own personal touches and we hope that you will enjoy them as much as we do.
