Great Time

Getaway with friends and we all had a great time. We sat on the balcony sipped coffee, watched the sunrise and talked with a beautiful view. Beach access was convenient and public rentals were available if needed.

3 Bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and kitchen were great. Big balcony looking at the ocean. Hotel was a great location. Check in and check out were simple. We had a remote with dead batteries, and maintenance came to help us out with that.

I love the oceanfront with the balcony and I had two rocking chairs which were really nice. The pool on the fifth floor was out of commission for two days. One of the staff member said they were out of chlorine once they did open the doors for us to go to the pool the water was extremely cold The pool and the hot tub downstairs. They were nice but they could have been clean more.

loved being away from all the high rises.beach was not nearly as busy .read all the negative reviews before booking glad I did not listen to them.kitchen was well supplied and yes there was a chefs knife.took my own just in case.lots of luggage carts and shopping carts worked great when returning from food lion..pools were cleaned every morning.there are 4 elevators only really waited on check out day. I drive a full size pick up truck and had no issue in the garage..the rockers on the large patio were well used rocking the grand kids..all common areas were clean .will be back next year

Nice touches like starter pack of dishwashing and laundry soap, hand soap at every sink, and toiletries in each shower. Also, extra trash bags and toilet paper was nice. But the listing says heated pool, and that was not the case. We booked this property based on the heated pool, knowing that the end of October would be too cold to swim in the ocean. After we realized the pool was also cold, we asked, and were told the hot tubs were the heated pool. Had some disappointed kids on fall break who had wanted to swim.

Beautiful condo

This condo was decorated beautifully. There was tons of space for a family to break off and have your own privacy. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the number of pillows was great. Loved that the balcony was glass front so you could see the ocean clearly from the inside.

Bahama sands had a very homey feel and we loved the beachfront view! Easy access to the pool and parking was not an issue. However if I were going to nit pick I think that you should be able to purchase additional parking passes. We had three vehicles and it was annoying to try to find somewhere else to park without getting towed. Also, the sheets in the pull out couch were not cleaned.

The room we booked was changed halfway through the year, so the hot tub that was promised in the master bath, and still showed in our booking was not there. Housekeeping was nonexistent. Some of the amenities were lacking or nonexistent. Security was also nearly nonexistent. Spent half the time washing our own towels and bed linens, in a washer and dryer that barely worked.

Clean room. Beds comfy. Spacious unit. Access point to beach if using a cart is not great bc you have to walk in the road briefly. AC unit went out twice in 4 nights. Staff quick to respond and repair and friendly about the entire situation. Room has ceiling fans in all areas which helped during times AC out. Enjoyed the stay. Unit needs a blender for smoothies!

Management Company was horrible

We got locked out key code died, it took 2 hours and lots lots of phone calls. Repairman was awesome, Lazy river was green n very dirty indoor pool was closed no signs to say why, restroom on P1 was discussing parking garage was horrible very small n tight space Not enough room for cars to pass. Hot tub had 26 kids in it. Room was clean patio doors were sticking hard to open n shut. Will not use this company.

Absolutely loved our stay.

I did message property management a few times and never got a response? Out of our own stupidity we were locked out of the building for almost an hr untill someone else came by with the door code. We ethier missed the code in our welcome package and didnt realize the 4th floor didnt require a code to enter for elevator use. Im giving a 5 star on all but wouod like to know for future reference who tk contact. Contacting through vacasa got us no response even when using the VRBO app still no response.

A wonderful week!

We loved the pools and hot tubs that were under cover for either a sun break or a place for fun during a rainy day. Would love for the baby wade-in pool (which we loved for our grandson) to be slightly warmed. We were there in early to mid September and it was a little chilly. The condo was a very comfortable and well kept space. We loved the balcony! The dining table was a great size for family dinners and game time. The kitchen had the basics regarding pots and pans. The coffee maker does not have an automatic shut off—be mindful of that. There is no closet or storage space for beach things other than one of the bedroom closets. We did miss that as we’ve had that available at other places we’ve experienced. Location was fabulous for great eating out and other activities. We appreciated the parking garage on the first few levels of the building. So nice to not have to leave the building to get to our car! We truly enjoyed our stay at Bahama Sands. We look forward to coming again!
