5 minutes from the airport. Perfectly located to see all of the cultural attractions in the area.. an hour drive from Santa Fe hour and a half drive from Taos. Sparsely decorated but well maintained and clean!
The property matched the description and the photos. Check in was easy and what I appreciated the most was the house was already cool when we entered. The home wasn’t stuffy or hot. The property had a fenced in roomy back yard. I would definitely stay here again.
We loved this place, and enjoyed staying here. It was great for our dog to have a back yard. We did wish that there was some shade in the back yard, because we enjoyed sitting there. There is a nice patio table and chairs that would be mightily improved if there was an umbrella or pergola in the back yard. The kitchen was nice but we were surprised that there was no cutting board, which seems like a basic necessary item.
Good-Nice location, set back off the road. Close to trails for hiking and a few good eating options. Enclosed b-yard was great for our pooches. Needs attention-carpet is in rough shape. Tile or laminate with an easily replaceable area rug, would spiff it up. Had to displace a few spiders to access the washer. Overall, a good option!
Nice home and very comfortable for a quick overnight stay with our dogs. Lovely to have a backyard for them. Appreciated the friendly responses of the owner.
We were only stopping through for the night on a road trip but the house had everything we needed. A large and secure yard for the dogs and all that was needed to prepare and enjoy a warm meal. We slept well!!
Another successful stay at the Thaxton house is in the books! Located close to the NM Fairgrounds where the event we attend is held. It’s a very comfortable place for us to stay.
The property was very nice. We are moving from AZ to SC so it was a nice rest spot. The AC in one room was good, there was no AC in the 2nd, and the living room AC said it was 69 but my son was complaining how hot he was. We figured it out though so no big deal. We loved the yard. Kitchen was awesome. Thank you for the coffee and tide pods to wash clothes. FYI living room light was not working per my son (mom and I hung out in the kitchen mainly)
