We are especially sorry for the pest concerns you encountered. While Sunset Island is a waterfront community where occasional seasonal activity can happen, the conditions you described are unacceptable. We regret that you did not receive timely follow-up, and we are taking immediate steps to ensure communication and response times are improved. A full inspection and treatment have already been scheduled, along with preventative measures to ensure this does not recur. We also appreciate your honest feedback regarding the kitchen supplies, cleanliness, linens, and maintenance items such as door locks and carpets. These items should have been in proper working order and fully stocked prior to your arrival, and it is clear the property fell short on multiple fronts. We have already initiated a complete restock of missing kitchen essentials, evaluations of all appliances and doors, and a deep clean—including carpets, vents, and flooring. Regarding the amenity passes, these are issued per Sunset Island community policy, but we understand the frustration and will review how we communicate this information so guests are better prepared. Your comments are incredibly valuable, and though we are disappointed that this stay did not meet expectations, we appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention so they can be corrected immediately.
