Wonderful little haven

We had such a wonderful time staying at ocean overlook. The host was attentive and helpful and everything was picture perfect. The interior is updated and the bed was so comfortable! We were so happy that there were so many things to do in close proximity to the resort and we really enjoyed the atmosphere at the beach. Very family friendly and well maintained. We would definitely stay again!

Ocean Overlook is an exceptional, pristine condo - DIRECT ocean view, PRIVATE internet, HUGE TVs with multiple sports-viewing options, comfortable bed, well-stocked kitchen, truly better than the pictures. Chad is great with communicating and wholeheartedly wants his guests to have an ultimate getaway experience…which we did. We are thankful for owners who offer their homes to us. It’s obvious Ocean Overlook is loved and cared for, and we will definitely consider staying here again.

The ocean front view is amazing!! You don’t have to ever leave the condo, you can watch the ocean from the couch. Very clean and well appointed. The bed was amazing and I am very picky about beds. Centrally located. Everything you need is close by. We will be back!!

Great Beach Rental. You can’t get much closer to the beach, just steps away. The views from the balcony are Great. The unit is well done with nice finishes. The owners are great and easy to communicate with even checking in to make sure everything was to our liking. The resort it’s located in is nice with multiple pickle ball and tennis courts which we enjoyed. Great place will try to return in the future!

What an amazing place to discover the beauties of HHI from! The condo is in very close proximity to the ocean and we enjoyed sunrises and evening dinner on the balcony. The sound of the waves coming was beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed the location and ability to rent bikes and ride along the beach. The condo itself was extremely clean and well equipped. Chad went above and beyond to ensure that everything was in place for a wonderful holiday. We are already planning for our return next year.

Our second Beach Trip Here

This is the second time we stayed here. We love the corner unit and sitting on the deck overlooking the ocean. We can walk right to the beach it’s so close. The unit is immaculately cleaned and our host was readily available if we had any questions. He is so thorough we had no questions. The weather was not always cooperative but we had plenty to do in town on non beach days. We toured the ruins of a plantation home and a small community built for freed slaves surrounded by beautiful walking trails. We also spent a day in beautiful Harbor Town.

You cannot beat the view at this property. However, the hosts were quick to respond, but their methods of communication around issues (e.g., very long messages stating how mentally distressed they were that we weren't having the "best vacation experience we have ever had," was off-putting, or suggesting their parents pop over to look at cleaning issues, etc. (which we very much did not want) made our experience somewhat stressful at times. Overall we enjoyed our trip and this space is suitable for no more than two guests, otherwise you'd be quite cramped.

Truly one of the best oceanfront views on the island!

I cannot begin to say how pleased I am to have stayed at Ocean Overlook! We have stayed at the same resort, but in a different villa! We decided this year we wanted something oceanfront(something we haven’t had previously). We have always stayed in a villa that was lagoon front, and I felt cheated to be at the beach and not be able to see it. When we first arrived at ocean overlook we were absolutely amazed at the fact that the view was truly as it was shown! Not only was the view spectacular, but everything was clean and just as shown! The owner was very diligent making sure that every was to our liking! And willing to make our stay as enjoyable as possible! We cannot say enough how happy we our to have chosen this beautiful place! And we cannot wait to stay here in the future! After all Hilton Head Island is the most beautiful and relaxing place to vacation in my opinion!

We have been together since 2014 and have been visiting the island for years. We immediately fell in love with the charm and atmosphere of the Lowcountry of South Carolina with its spanish moss, aged live oaks, and Palmetto trees. Hilton Head was our first travel destination as a couple because not only is it known for having all of the charm of the South Carolina Lowcountry, it is also a world renowned travel destination because of its: 12 miles of incredible sugary sand beaches, 24 championship world-class golf courses (including the iconic Harbour Town), over 60 miles of bike trails, local dining cuisine featuring fresh seafood, hundreds of stores for shopping, and zero neon signs. Hilton Head’s beaches and trails for biking/running were on the top of our list of things to do on our first trip in 2014 and our island experience was so memorable we not only return annually, but some years we make multiple trips to enjoy Hilton Head’s island experience. We have traveled in the Caribbean to St. Lucia & Jamaica, the Pacific and seen Alaska & Nicaragua, even seen the Gulf of Mexico along the entire stretch of the western Florida coast, yet Hilton Head is the place that with every trip we fall more and more in love...so we decided to buy a home in Hilton Head.
