My family and I have been to Hawaii five times and this was hands down the best vacation rental experience I have ever had. The place is absolutely perfect, the pictures do not do it justice and being there in person blew us away. The unit is beautifully renovated with a classic, timeless style. We love the luxurious feel & all the pampering amenities. Because the condo is four times the size of a standard hotel room, we even declined a rollaway bed in the living room when it was offered. It is incredibly spacious and comfortable for our family of five.We love staying at the Ilikai because it preserves its historic Hawaiian charm and façade instead of chasing contemporary trends and discarding the iconic reputation it earned as a filming location for Hawaii Five-O.The hosts were incredibly kind, accommodating and this experience exceeded all of our expectations. Here are the details:- The ocean, beach, pool, and lagoon views from the unit are absolutely breathtaking. All walking distance.- The unit is recently updated, tastefully decorated, everything worked, and was exceptionally clean. It did not feel like a burn and turn rental, this was clearly someone’s pride and joy vacation home. - The hosts thought of literally every detail: beach and bath towels,I can go on and on, but I’ll leave you with this: the hosts thought of little details that really made us feel welcome. Just show up with your packed bags.The spirit of aloha is alive and well in this home.

Lay out was amazing , very nice views. Being met by the house was very nice and comforting . They were available on text and phone at anytime durning our stay. Recommend for big family’s with children the second room was a nice place for them to hang out !!

The property was as described and was nice for our stay. It's a nice location with lots of shops and places to eat within walking distance.If you rent a car, you will need to use the valet at the building (which is actually a hotel). Our rental car was damaged by the valet and it wasn't mentioned to us and we noticed it when we turned the car in. They clearly backed into/sideswiped something. Waiting to see how much that will cost us. However, we understand this isn't the owner's fault, but just an FYI.We were taken aback a little because JoAnn, the host, bugged us incessantly about when we would arrive. Be sure to text when you land, etc. Then she told us to meet at the bell station. We went to the bell station and received what seemed like a snippy text from her asking if we were lost, because it only takes 30 minutes to get there from the airport. We were at the bell station. She was at the valet and told us the wrong place. She takes us to the room, which was rather odd. I travel for business almost every week and have never had someone meet me to take me to a room. But she wanted a picture of us. It was just weird and not something we're used to. They had already required each person in the party to send in a photo ID, which I've also never encountered. Just seemed intrusive. I wouldn't stay here again because of those things.

Our first time to Oahu. Downtown Honolulu and Waikiki is very crowded. More than I anticipated- I should have done more research. The ILIKAI is an older building which is fine if you don’t expect everything to be shiny and new. Parking is valet only and it got crazy at the valet stand. The valets worked so hard but the sheer volume of cars/people at the entrance was overwhelming at times. The unit itself is nice-basically two suites for one price. Like the building- it’s a little dated, older and crowded (We did request a roll away bed which made it even more-so). We didn’t find the beds/linens very comfortable but we are a little picky. The pay washer/dryer on each floor has an app that you have to use. It took me a day to realize you have to be connected to the hotel WiFi to get it to work (totally on me). The best things about this unit were the location- you can walk to anything. And Jo Ann- she met us the entrance and showed us around. She is very friendly and answered any questions/concerns immediately. Wonderful lady.

Beautiful location

Wet nice accommodations with smooth check in process. Beautiful condo and close to everything in Waikiki. Valet parking was superb and easy for come and go parking. Would definitely recommend this place to stay and enjoy the tropical setting of the Aloha state .

Beautiful view! The host was so welcoming and made sure we knew how everything in the condo worked. The space is comfortable and we were happy with the location, furnishings, and the rest of the building. Parking in the garage or at the marina was nearby and convenient. We tried the coffee shop and restaurants on site and liked what we had. The ocean view is the best part! We sat on the balcony every morning and evening to enjoy it. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby for food and other needs. I recommend this listing!

Great property

Walking distance to much of Waikiki without all the noise. Close to Ala Moana mall as well. Clean, well decorated, close to the beach and had the best customer service. Was leery of putting so much down but all transactions and communications were excellent and top-notch. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful suite and view

What you see is what you get! Beautiful suites with a beautiful view of the ocean and lagoon. The hosts David and Ron are wonderful! Always there to help and communicate. We enjoyed our stay here and definitely recommend staying with them :)

Loved it

The property was beautiful, tranquil and peaceful with excellent views of the ocean. The interior was top notch and included two separate balconies with upgraded interior furnishings and hosts are attentive and responded quickly when I inquired about TV operation. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to others as it is very central to restaurants and easily walkable to the beach.

Amazing view and great location!

Wonderful property with great amenities and access to Waikiki beach. On days that we were too tired to go to the beach, the pools at Ilikai are great alternatives; our kids love the pool! Lobby has a great ice cream place (Dave’s). Nearby grocery store also (real grocery, not expansive resort convenient store.). Thank you to the hosts and property manager for an unforgettable experience!

This place was the best we have stayed at Ilikai so far . Great view of the ocean , well upgraded unit , good supplies, nice manager. Waikiki Family Vacation

We would highly recommend this home for numerous reasons. The Host and Property Manager communication was exceptional. The condo was located in a perfect location close to the lagoon and beach. The condo itself had everything we wanted and needed. Pictures and description are accurate. Overall a wonderful experience.

Luxury stay at one of the best!

The check in process was seamless our host was very accommodating and took their time showing us around the condo and explaining everything. Space was upscale and clean, view was excellent from the balcony. Valet parking was extremely convenient, beach chairs & gear was a super nice perk. All and all it was everything I could have expected and asked for. I give them a 10/10! Great job, I really enjoyed my stay.

Owner communication and check-in were excellent. Our host met us at Ilikai and gave us a tour. Kitchen is well stocked. Supplies of soap, garbage bags, paper towels, and tp are more than adequate for one week stay. We used the valet for parking and had no issues but around checkout time everyday it can take 15 minutes to retrieve car. Good view of lagoon from lanai but Friday fireworks view is obstructed by Hilton. Air conditioning worked well. Within walking distance of large shopping center and restaurants.

Party of 6 (15,14,7&1) and two adults. Great place to stay! Hosts have thought of everything! Beach goodies to take to the beach! So you don’t have to bring anything. They set up an extra bed to accommodate all of us. The amount of detail they put into letting us know about the property and what is going on around the property was fantastic. 10/10 for us. Location was amazing. View was absolutely gorgeous. Jo Ann was our island host and we loved her! We would message her and she would reply super quick with all details needed. Made great family memories. This was my favorite vacation
