Fabulous Home
This home was beautiful, well-stocked and very comfortable. The wrap-around porch was one of our favorite spots. One inconvenience was that the front door on the main level was broken and we could not use it. We had to access the porch through the master bedroom door. We had a great time exploring the area.

Great home, great location, service issues
This home is exactly as shown. It’s actually even better in person in my opinion! The location is fabulous with great views from the home all around, especially out the back of the home where you can see the lake. The home is 10 minutes away from Rocky Mountain National Park and downtown Grand Lake. We had a wonderful stay, with a few service hiccups… When we arrived to the home on a Sunday there were seven full bags of trash left in the garage. These bags were not left in trash cans and there were no instructions on when or how to get the trash out for collection. I called Vacasa to inform them of the trash and they said I should expect a call from the “local team” to schedule trash removal. I never received a phone call about the trash so had to call Vacasa again the next day. I was told the same, that the “local team” would get in touch with me. Again, I never received a call so had to call again the next day. This cycle continued until I was finally able to escalate the issue and the trash was finally removed on Thursday (the fifth day of our trip). This trash collection issue was mentioned in an earlier review from June, so as of August, it has still not been resolved. It was disappointing as the home has a nice ping pong table in the garage that was unable to be used because of the trash accumulation in the garage. Another issue was that the dryer does not work. Similar to above, I called Vacasa and reported the issue and was told I would receive a call from the “local team”. I never received a phone call about the dryer. As a family with children, having a place with a functioning washer and dryer is essential and was one of the reasons we rented this home. No one ever came to inspect the dryer or attempt to repair. I was told I would be given a credit for the loss of this amenity but have yet to receive this two weeks out. It stinks we had these service issues because the house itself was exactly what we were looking for and served our purposes well. While I don’t necessarily expect perfection when renting vacation homes, I do expect any issues that arise to be addressed in a timely manner. Vacasa did not live up to that expectation and I spent far too much of my vacation time on the phone trying to get the issues above resolved. Even given these issues, I would recommend the house because of the location and condition of the home. It truly is great! Just know that if any issues do arise, it will be tough to get resolution because I’m not sure the “local team” is very involved.
