About this property

“Casa de Fior” 1925 Casita in the Historic District, Downtown Mt. Dora, Fla

I purchased “Casa de Fior” (Fior's Home) in honor and for my mother in hopes she’ll one day retire and want to live closer to me. It’s conveniently located in the historical district of downtown Mount Dora.
In the meantime guests can enjoy the comforts of her home until she’s ready to retire.

CHECK out my other listings: “The Little Blue Bungalow, a 1940’s Vintage School House” sleeps up to 8 guests and the latest "La Maison Musique" a Romantic French Pool Villa sleeps up to 9.

Mt Dora mini vacation with my dog
Mt Dora is a charming town with a great historic district, and our host house provided an also charming retreat while there. It’s a dog friendly house and Mt Dora is a dog friendly town. There are great trails nearby, and a boardwalk hike, over the water, that is a beautiful place to walk. Do pay attention to the Gator warning signs tho!

Great get-away!
The cottage was in a quiet residential area with beautiful trees. It was clean and appointed with all the things needed in the bath and kitchen. The only drawback was the tv, the local stations were unavailable (for the Super Bowl game. We loved the downtown area and parks.

Thank You
We had the cute cottage to attend a family bereavement. It’s a quaint cute cottage filled with character. Beds were comfy. Kitchen is stocked. Near all around Mt Dora. Easy access to roads and highways. Owner was responsive and attentive. Highly recommend a stay!

Hello travelers from all over,

My name is Jessica and I am a proud Military Veteran. After 10 years of serving my country with the Army (74D) and deploying with the Air Force as a Firefighter, I decided to call Mount Dora, FL, my forever home. I feel like I'm walking in my purpose when I’m traveling or going on a new adventure, so I aim to see at least 3-4 new places each year and make conversations with strangers along the way.

After many years of traveling and calling a "home away from home" my home, I’ve decided to become a host with a few bungalows in the town I call home. Vacation Rentals have given me the opportunity to experience some amazing places like Costa Rica, Iceland, North Carolina, England and Bali, just to name a few. There’s something about occupying or sharing someone’s home while visiting a new country that makes you feel like you never left the comforts of your own home. I hope to give guests the same wonderful and cozy experiences I’ve received each time I booked a trip with VRBO.com

Safe travels to all of my guests,

Your host
Jessica : )
