This was the perfect accommodation for our family of five. The house was clean and very well appointed, with a full kitchen that made cooking in easy. Our three kids were thrilled to have their own bedrooms. It was peaceful and quiet, with pretty mountain views when it wasn't snowing. We will definitely look to return for future Middlebury visits!
We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was beautiful and very cozy inside. Highly recommend. Owner was excellent. Will definitely stay here again.
Clean, functional, scenic, and in a great location. My family and enjoyed our time. Rainy summer days can make the house warm and humid especially at night.
We had a great stay. It’s a beautiful house in a nice location. Very easy to get to all of the local attractions.
The house is exactly as described. Very spacious and comfortable with a nice layout. We had a large family in town for a family reunion taking place in Middlebury and this was a perfect house for some of our family. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a gorgeous house to stay at in the Middlebury area!
Pam was an excellent host as well!
We loved staying here…great location (especially if you are visiting a Middlebury student, as we were), great layout and full amenities. I couldn't stop taking pictures of the fall foluage off the deck! Place was spotless (though previous guest had left trash in kitchen, which was a bit smelly when we walked in…easily remedied though!). We like to cook, and the kitchen was very well-equipped. Didn't get to take advantage if the soaking tub….hopefully next time! Thsnks, Pam!
Lots of amenities, beautiful furnishings, comfortable beds, very private. There are two things that were disappointing, one the outside around the front porch and back porch had a lot of dead leaves and should have been cleaned off. The area around the grill was very over grown, my husband had to clean it up enough to grill. The biggest down side was the no AC, it was very HOT during our stay and even with the shade and ceiling fans it was still 85 degrees in the house.
We have stayed in a few rental homes over the years, and this home was by far our favorite- it is in a great location, with top notch amenities and a great value for all that you get. Our family of four (kids ages 15 and 21) stayed here for a few days before we dropped off our son at Middlebury college for the summer. The home is just a few miles from Middlebury, which was really convenient, but also nestled in the trees and very quiet. We woke up to a gentle rain in the trees in the morning and it was like being in the rainforest. The house had plenty of space for all of us and everything had recently been renovated. Highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a place to relax with all the luxuries and conveniences nearby!
The property was perfect for our family's first visit to Middlebury. The gorgeous location and lovely home provided a tranquil setting that surpassed our family's expectations. The host was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We look forward to returning soon.
The house is nestled in the woods just outside of Middlebury making it feel like you're really out in nature. The home has been beautifullly renovated making our stay very enjoyable! The kitchen came with anything you could need to make a meal for your family. We will definitely stay here next time we visit Middlebury!
Pam's home was so clean and welcoming, and was a perfect spot for our family of 3. The location provides easy access to Middlebury and the surrounding areas. We made sure to enjoy some apple-picking nearby, and also visited a local gorge to provide our toddler with a river-walking adventure. Pam was quick to respond to any questions we had, and was a wonderful host.
Lovely house moderne yet quaint and cozy. In the country yet close to Middlebury. Wonderful helpful owner made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed.
We loved being able to spread out instead of getting hotel rooms…this house was so clean and had everything you could ever need!

What makes this property unique
We fell in love this this homes views of the mountains and the feeling of being nestled in a forest while being less than 5 minutes to the town of Middlebury. When you walk into the house you see the breathtaking views of Bread loaf mountain that grounded us. The casual and comfortable setting and furnishings allows you to breathe - snuggle up and read a book or work without the daily stress of our often challenging daily working lives.
