Property excellent. Communication with owners very good. Position of property good and quiet. all the people around were very civilised and polite. And the chippy is great!!!!
Beautiful, clean, well equipped holiday let with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Our teen loved the 'teen' bedroom! We were blessed with fantastic weather and the views from both balconies are amazing - we very much enjoyed mornings and evenings sat outside.
The let is in a fabulous location - we enjoyed runs/walks around Hodbarrow Nature Reserve - great time of year for lots of new bird life, a lovely coastal walk from the doorstep to Silecroft and back, paddle boarding at the Water Park, a climb up Black Combe, a trip to Ambleside and Millom Parkrun - an extremely welcoming and friendly local Parkun.
We had fantastic ice cream from Riva Gelato on the camp site nearby and recommend Haverigg Fish & Chips.
Great communication from the hosts from booking to departing and very accommodating by letting us check out a little later, to enable us to attend Parkun on our day of departure and come back for a quick freshen up before heading home.
We had such a fantastic week, felt truly relaxed and would highly recommend.

We had a really lovely stay at Combe n Sea. The walk over to Haverigg beach was really pleasant in the evening. The property was really clean and nicely decorated, furniture was comfy (kids loved the reclining chairs!), and rhe owners couldn't have been more accommodating. At the end of our first week the getting element went on the oven, and Liz and Dave came over the very next morning to replace the cooker so that we could continue to self-cater. We ventured out every day and were really blessed with the weather. The children loved splashing about in the Lakes, and even climbed a couple if mountains on the cooler days! Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to visit the Lake District.
We rented this property as a base for 3 days of riding experiences at Cumbrian Heavy Horses for our 11 year old granddaughter. Brilliantly flexible bedroom arrangement to accommodate 3 generations and great family room. Beach walks with the dog made easy thanks to the location, and hose to clean off the sand. Good pubs with food in the area in Broughton in Furness and Broughton Mills, and plenty of thoughtful touches to come home to at the end of the day.
The location is absolutely brilliant, so close to the beach at Haverigg and the stunning nature reserve.
Everything you could possibly needed is provided.
I would recommend it. It is quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The 'heart' of the Lakes is readily accessible with the beach to head back too.
